**Help** The pictures I just took are gone, and its now on Internal Memory?

I believe you can take the memory card out and go to view pictures and when you find the pics that are on there select the pic and then hit the menu button on camera or settings button!! it should ask to send to memory card but first take memory card out and make sure that they are there then insert card and hit settings on the picture and select to send to memory card

I just purchased a GE E1486TW. It has 18MB of memory. I took 3 pictures and It said that the memory was full. Is this normal? This is my first digital camera. Thanks

You will need an additional memory device; such as an SD card; to store more pictures.
What you are currently using is only the internal memory, which is basically emergency backup for if your card is full or if theres no card inserted.
SD cards range in sizes and prices, but are relatively inexpensive to buy; any supplementary memory will give you more than 3 pictures, though.

Does anyone know how to transfer pictures from the camera to a memory card? I thought my card was in there when I took the picture, but it wasn't.

most all cameras cannot move pics from internal memory to memory card. You first have to save them to your hard drive with a usb connection. Then you can move the pics to the memory card if you have a card reader. Or... replug the camera into usb after installing the memory card. Then you can move the pics to the memory card. Note: if trying the later you have to name the pics following the same naming convention as the pics already on your memory card. otherwise, they will not show up or will replace those that already exist on the card.

My dsc-w80 keeps saving all of my pics to the internal memory

Set camera on playback mode, you will see any saved picture in internal memory. Insert memory card and lcd screen will show you either blue screen if memory card has no picture files or will show you picture in memory card. That means memory card is intact with camera and ready to store fresh picture.
Set camera to camera mode and take few fresh pictures and check them in playback mode.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

I have taken several pictures with my new camera - when I go to look or print them it says that the "file contains no image data" I took 13 pictures and only 5 show up. Is this a problem with my camera? I...

Make sure you have no pictures on the internal memory of the camera. If you do, format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, download any pics you can save from the card to your computer. Then, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase and optimize the card for the camera.

I have a w1000 model with a 128mknow how to get more pictures than30b memory card and can only get 30 pictures befor its full iwant to get more than 30 pictures

You'll have to go into the camera settings, and choose a lower resolution for your pictures, then you will get more room for more pics. Either that, or buy a 2 gb memory card, they're affordable these days. and you can probably fit a few hundred pics on one.

Didnt put in memory card, but want the pics in the camera

the picture will either be on the internal camera memory if it has it or a card when installed. Both will come off the same way. Plug into the usb and the camera will be recognized by the pc. You can either use my computer or the management software that came with the camera to move or copy it off. It will show up as an extra drive or two.

Cannot access pics

Once you took pictures without a memory card, all pictures taken will automatically be saved on the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera.
When taking pictures with a memory card, all pictures are just saved on the memory card itself.
If you are seeing 100-757 on the LCD screen. It means that there are already 757 pictures taken from the first time you've used the camera.
It is possible that some of the pictures are in the internal memory and some are in the memory card.

STEPS to DOUBLE CHECK:
1) Remove memory card out of the camera
- Turn on camera
- View pictures on the internal memory
by just pressing on the PLAY mode button
(lowest of the 3 little buttons)
- Pictures seen are just the ones saved on the internal memory

2) Return memory card back in the camera
- Turn on camera
- View pictures on the internal memory
by just pressing on the PLAY mode button (
lowest of the 3 little buttons)
- Pictures seen are just the ones saved on the memory card itself

*** If you want to transfer pictures on the internal memory of the camera to your MEMORY CARD, you just have to follow the steps below:
- Make sure there is a memory card inside the camera
- Turn on camera
- Press on PLAY mode button to view pictures
- Press MENU/OK button
- Keep scrolling to the right until you see COPY TO CARD
- Select YES using the arrow keys
- Press MENU/OK to confirm
* When you've done these steps, all pictures from the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera will be copied to your MEMORY CARD but it depends on the space left on your memory card

** If still, you could not view the pictures, it's possible that the pictures are really gone when you have transferred the previous pictures to your computer.

** Once you have transferred pictures to your PC, and you have deleted those on your camera, the FILE NAME of the pictures will not start from 100-001 again unless you have reset the file name on the settings of your camera.

In example, i already have 256 pictures on my camera so the filename reads 100-256 for the last picture taken. And then i decided to transfer those 256 pictures to my PC and i deleted those immediately after being transferred. So, as i took another picture, FILENAME will start with 100-257 if i have not reset
the FILE NAME settings to 100-001.

Hope i've helped you enough.

If you are refering to the pictures you took on the camera before you put in the memory stick, then you took those pictures on the internal camera memory. the camera is set to default on the memory card whenever one is in. To get to the pictures on the internal memory, remove the memory stick and you should be able to view the pictures. To transfer those pictures to your computer follow the steps in the manual, just be sure not to have the memory stick in.
