My pickup whont start i test the presher it bilds up when pump shuts off it drops prity fast

There are three elements you need to start a motor - fuel, electricity, and air. The electricity seems to be there. Check to make sure that the motor is getting enough air. Is the air filter clogged? Is there something blocking the air flow? Next, check the fuel delivery. Is the motor getting enough gas? Is the fuel filter clogged? Does the fuel pump work? If it is electric, can you hear it working? Try and give us more details about what is happening when starting the vehicle.

I have a 2004 grand am. the motor turns over but wont start. I changed the fuel pump, the ignition is good, fuses are all good but it will not start

first check the fuel filter. check before and after the filter if you get fuel before it then check after it, no fuel before go back to the pump. if you get fuel after then go to the fuel rail on the motor. open the line before the pressure regulator, if you get fuel then check after the regulator, if none after then the regulator is bad, if the regulator is vacuum assisted check your vacuum.

Have a vz v6 alloytec commodore wagon 2006 wife run out of fuel after putting some in it the car runs rough and takes a few times to start it the car run for a couple of weeks still with the starting...

It's always bad to let the fuel system dig into whatever lies at the bottom of the tank. You have fuel.. or something.. getting to the motor but I suspect that the carburation system has got some serious issues.
Not being inclined to mess with these, I would give call my favorite mechanic up and take it from there. If you are mechanically inclined, you might entertain getting a carb rebulid kit.
If this machine is fuel injected the injectors or some other part of the system may be clogged.
Good luck.

take fuel line loose at motor, see if ur getting fuel to engine, have air flow meter checked, throttle position sensor checked, check the fuel pressure regulator also could be bad and not keeping fuel at motor.

My Yamaha Outboard 115hp 1994 motor starts but wont keep its revs up for very long. I've had issues with water in the fuel recently and had all old fuel and water flushed out of my tanks and motor. After...

Not enough information, but there are two things I didn't read about you checking. Make sure the fuel quick connection on the engine (and possibly the fuel tank) is locked all the way in first, Then see if your fuel pump is working. Disconnect the fuel line from the carb and, holding it in a gas can, have someone turn on the ignition. If It's an electric pump, it should start running fuel, if mechanical, they'll have to crank it a little to get fuel going. If you get plenty of fuel that way, your float in the carb could have gotten stuck, or something in the line got into it.

If someone hit my gas tank with there hand my car will start and my check engine light will not go out

Dear Sir,
If Your car getting start after hitting to gas tank it means fuel pump for gas is fitted on gas tank it operated with electric motor and it supply fuel to engine without fuel car will not start if that motor not working due to some problem in it like poor carbon connection or motor winding problem you can not repair that motor you have to replace fuel pump assay, after that problem will solve get it done as early as possible because now it is working after hitting but after few days it will not start at all then you have to tow car till workshop or replace fuel pump same place where car stop working. thanks.

I think its not getting any fuel

try the auto parts store and get a can of starting fluid. open the air box and spray into the side leading to the motor while someone is trying to start the motor. if it is just fuel it will fire. good luck

1995 aspire wont start

with little infomation i would say that you need to replace the fuel pump or you shoul start with the fuel filter then if that doesnt help try the fuel pump replacement . see when you push it motor is turning faster than starter motor meaning need less fuel to start it so when you push it motor is winding faster than with starter motor good luck with this project
