Unfortunately there is no way to get your pass-code back.
You can reset your iPhone using your i-tunes on your computer. Unless you have a restore date that is before the pass-code existed you will have to reset your phone.
You could also try to reset your pass code through find my iPhone on icloud.com but this may result in a temporary unusable phone.
you can follow this link to reset your phone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306
Hoped this helped my best wishes to ya.
Go to settings > passcode > turn passcode off ! At each stage you will be asked to enter passcode for security! After this is complete when you go to settings > passcode, you should see "turn passcode off"
After you put in the wrong pass code 3 times, you only can unlock the iPad with the correct password, belonging to the Apple ID from what is only a part shown on the screen. If you don't have the passcode nor the password Apple assumes you are not the legal owner, and you can't use the iPad anymore. Just go back to your friend, ask him to unlock the screen, to wipe the content and reset the iPad to factory settings.
For that goto settings, general and scroll to the bottom line and press that. then the second line wipe everything. Again the login code is asked. but after that the iPad is empty.Your friend should also remove the iPad from his list of registered Apple equipment.
Hi, i have not seen a ipad turn on a pass code by its self, generally either someone is pranking you or if it was second had it might have previously had a passcode and its has just been accidentaly activated, there is the third option that someone has install security software on this phone that allows them to remotly lock it but this would only apply to a second hand ipad but performing the below proceedure will remove any hidden software as well
i am happy to show you how to remove this passcode, but it will restore the ipad to factory setting and wipe it so unless you have a backup of it or you remember the passcode you will loose you data
here's what you'll need to do:
Plug the iPad into your computer
Hold down the Power button and the Home button at the same time
Keep holding both of these buttons for 10 seconds
After 10 seconds pass, release the Power button but continue to hold the Home button for another 3-5 seconds
When in DFU mode, your iPad screen will stay completely black. If you see an Apple logo or otherwise you did not enter DFU mode
iTunes will notify you that it has detected a device in recovery mode
Now Select to restore your device, let itunes do its thing for a few minutes
