Question about Ryobi BE318-2 3 X 18 BELT SANDER
Dust bag stopped working, after first I emptied the bag, I just bought the sander and it worked till I reattached it and started to sand again, I check and it was on properly but didn't collect the dust.
The pathway that the dust follows to reach the bag is most likely clogged. Take the bag off and look inside to see if there's sawdust plugging the orifice. If there is then you could vacuum out the dust or simply start up the sander and let the machine clear itself. If you do the latter just know that you will create a cloud of dust so do it in the proper environment.
