if the fan inside the oven cavity is operating as well as the light, then the problem is probably the circular element is open circuit.
get back to me if you want - fairly easy to fit and not too expensive

yes, if the humming is not the loud sound then the fan may need some lubrication or if it is tripping the circuit it will need replacing , but if it seems like it is a viberating noise from the fan , then it could be that its bearings are bad , but the whole fan motor would still need to be replaced , but if it sounds like it just may be a loose fan motor , then tightening up the screws on the motor would stop the vibrating sound and or the fan blades from scraping metal( another sound you may be hearing )

I was getting the remove rack error until I finally figured out what it wanted me to remove. When you say you removed the rack supports, do you mean just the sliding parts or the whole side metal rack support? At first I thought they were bolted in, but I read somewhere that they come out, too. Upon further investigation, I found the rack supports just slide into the side walls at 4 points. I had to use a little force to pull them out, but they came out and my oven is self-cleaning as I write this. I just thought I would share in case you or others haven't figured it out yet. Now I will just have to see how hard it is to get them back in...

Thank you for your post, Richard Gardner!
I understand that you need to replace the element inside of your Electrolux wall oven. I was unable to locate any specific step by step instructions on the removal and installation of your element. I have attached a copy of your parts manual and that provides a breakdown of all the available parts within your wall oven. If you need further assistance I would recommend having a professional technician out to properly remove the element and install the replacement part. I hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt

Thank you for your post, Karen!
Typically the door of your Electrolux Icon wall oven has a lot of layers. Regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. I would highly recommend reaching out to an expert technician to ensure the replacement part is installed correctly to prevent future issues. I hope this information helps to some degree. -Matt
