I have a red tint to my tv?

If you have RGB color settings adjust either green and blue higher or drop red lower, if this doesnt fix the problem than that means you have a problem with the colors/lights going out inside the TV

I have ATT U-verse, (it's own remote). Using the LG remote, I try to adjust color, too red and too green, otherwise, BEAUTIFUL!! Now, it lets me look at brightness, contrast, but not color, just skips...

You will have to access the service menu. From it, you can reduce the luminance of the red and green bands.

To enter the menu, press the menu button the TV panel and hold it down then press the menu button the remote simultaneously.
In a few seconds, you will be prompted for a 4 digit password.
The password is 0000. Enter it with the remote.

There are two menus that will alternate upon entering it with this method, which one comes up depends on the last time the service menu was entered if it ever was.

You can navigate the menu with the remote. Find the selections labeled for R G B. This stands for red, green and blue. There will be more than one input available for these selections, make sure you select the input that your ATT-U-verse is connected to by toggling through the menus.

Adjusting your red and green;
After finding your proper input and your adjustments for RGB with that input, toggle down to the selections labeled as RGB gain. Reduce the numbered value by 2 or 3 points for R and G and press enter on the remote. Then press menu. This will return you to your input currently use, preferably the input you are adjusting. Using the same picture every time, such as a freeze frame picture that was not to your liking, repeat this process until you are satisfied.
Keep in mind that all colors will interact together. If you find that after making the R and G adjustments together tends to make your red tones appear to be too muted or more of a purple hue, return to the service menu as I described above and reduce the B (blue).

Going by eye is quite inaccurate but however; for a picture that isn't far off from your preference changing these values by only few points in the Gain channel will not make any drastic differences.

For a more accurate picture for your input in question, I recommend a monitor calibration tool such as the Spyder 3 TV. You could alternatively use a DVD based software such as Avia, but that is for your DVD that case you could simply use the settings from that calibration for your other inputs by manually copying them and that may work too. The Spyder is my best consumer based recommendation short of a professional calibration for your ATT U-verse input, the DVD is second but both are much much better than the naked eye.

Its glittery white because i briten the color but when darken it gets green

you must re-adjust in the RGB (Red-Green-Blue) setting. depending on the brand of your TV, because there are set manually from the TV (you must open the cover of the rear of the TV). and there is a set directly from the remote only, with the open "factory settings", then you can re-adjust RGB color, especially green, not too dominant with the other colors (RED-BLUE). how to set is that you need to neutralize the color, (color TV sets to zero level) so that the image becomes black and white. if the green is too dominant, then Decrease the level of Green Bias or Green Cut off/ G-drive.

Samsung monitor and mac os

Please do not adjust RGB unless you know what you are doing.
For critical color work, you will need to use a photospectrometer and calibration software to analyze what your monitor is spitting out.
There are a million obvious reasons you should not trust your eye making arbitrary RGB adjustments off the hip.

Monitor Coloring

Well most monitors come with 2 preset color temperatures and the option to customize it(the rgb setting). Your monitor has them as well 6500K or 9300K. 6500 is more reddish(like outdoors) and 9300 is more a bluish white(like a tv, i like the 9300 more). How u said its red and bright, what i would do is set the 9300 preset and if its still too red the customize the RGB by lowering the red. and If too bright then Lower the brightness(Press down on BRIGHTNESS CONTRAST page). If you don't have the manual you can download the full manual from LG's download site here: If you see that you can't get it just right, then the monitor might need adjustment from inside and you should make a qualified technician open the monitor and adjust that for you. Hope this was helpful.
