Question about Televison & Video
I just bought a new TV/DVD combi by Blaupunkt and when loading a DVD, it comes up with 'invalid key' and will not load the DVD. I am using UK DVDs that work perfectly in my usual DVD player, so do you know what the problem may be please?

SOURCE: DVD player not working
It could be that the DVD player has a bad home switch in the dvd player or that it doesn't know that the door is closed. I have run into similar situations with CD Players years ago. Also keep in mind to unplug unit and let sit for 1 minute to let microprocessor reset. Let me know if that helps. Thank you ...Jay

its the problem of fuse in the main board of the unit.due to which shut off and in that shut off the lens got faulty which needs replacement.as the faulty lens cannot load or play disc.

There definatley could be a firmware issue with that TV's DVD player if the model has just been released. My suggestion would be to bring a couple of known to be working DVD's back to the store and try their floor model as well. This will be easier than bringing back the TV for the second time. If this is a problem with the DVD player's firmware, LG should be able to fix it under warranty so I would call them or swap out the TV for another brand instead.

SOURCE: DVD player wont work
Firstly check the region code matches with the dvd code.
Check your manual in the front will be a list of dvd`s the dvd can`t play.has the disc been finalised.
One thing could be ,has the dvd recorder been into a cold environment, or not been used for the first time.
Take the dvd recorder into a warm room connect to the mails and leave for 2 hours , if that was the problem it should work.
Dust , for this open the dvd tray and blow to remove dust in that area of the dvd recorder.
