Now I think I have other things wrong with mine, after leakage problem the refrigeration compartment wont cool anymore but the freezer part remains working as usual.Ive nailed this down to one of the following not working... Thermostat / timer / defrost heater. So one or more of these needs replacing.Im just trying to look for a manual which shows the nuts and bolts or the refrigerator (not the "How to use" type manual which I have).

SOURCE: My refrigerator has a leak and builds up water in

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

SOURCE: the water tank in the

Jeff,
I can make it simple without any part numbers. If it is a pin hole as you say then dry up the surface, empty the water tank, allow it to dry up and put a drop of Super glue or quickfix or some such adhesive. let it dry for a few hours and then use it as new.

SOURCE: I have a side by

couple of things to check if you have a dispenser on this model there is a hose that goes up into the bottom of the freezer door you need to remove bottom kick plate and take a look at this...also if no water from that hose and its actually coming from the door you could have a ruptured line in the door itself.... next make sure the water is not actually coming from the freezer compartment as the drain in the freezer could be clooged and leaking over on defrost mode and out door...
hope this helps good luck...

Most likely its the hole in the bottom that goes to a tray underneath the fridge. Its part of the defrost system. Some times those holes vet covered up with a clearish mold. Just cleadn the bottom of fridge with bleach and clean out that drain home.

Water leaks at bottom of fridge

The same thing happened to me then I noticed ice had formed at the bottom of our fridge. It was covering a drain hole so water was leaking out the front of fridge instead of going to the drain pan or wherever the hole goes. After I chipped out the ice and cleared the hole with warm water the leak stopped. I also fixed another leak coming from bottom of fridge caused by a loose brass connection on water line going to the door.

I dont know if the water **** is bad or if there are busted hoses, but I see water squirting out of a little L shaped hose and water runs out at the bottom. If I buy a new water pump what hoses do I buy as...

Water pumps usually have a weep hole on the bottom of the snout. This is put there so when the seals go bad you will know from the water leaking out. Try to look for that weep hole and see if coolant is coming from there before spending money on a pump. If the pump does not look as if it has been leaking then maybe its just the hose.
Not knowing what Pontiac car (or Truck) you are working on and what hose specificly. When asking for the hose at the store just tell them where it goes to. Water pump bypass, water pump to intake, water pump to heater core, etc..

Water is leaking out of bottom of unit

It sounds like you have a defrost drain problem.

This refrigerator goes through a defrost cycle every 8 - 10 hours. The water from the defrost cycle is suppose to go down a drain to a pan and evaporate. It sounds like the drain is plugged. Try these steps to fix the problem.

- First turn the refrigerator off or unplug the unit.

- Open the freezer and remove the lower basket and lower shelf there may be ice build up so they are frozen in, you might need to melt the ice with hot water.

- Look in the back bottom of the freezer and you will see a few horizontal slots in the back panel, just below this will be a small hole, it will most likely be ice covered and not visible.

- If the hole for the water is not visible you may need to remove the panel behind the shelves to see it

- Use hot water to melt the ice and towels to clean up the mess.

DO NOT USE ANYTHING SHARP OR "CHISEL". You can damage the coils, use heat and hot water only, if you use a blow dryer or heat be careful not to heat up the side walls as they will melt.

- Once the ice is clear you will see a hole in the bottom pan about the size of a dime. Use the turkey baster and flush hot water in the hole until it flows again.

- While you are doing all this keep towels around the perimeter of the refrigerator to soak up any water that flows out the bottom, leave the towels there for a day or so to make sure you get it all up, a little leak for a few hours after the repair would be normal

- Once the drain tube is clear, you can put it back together and turn it back on

Leaking in the bottom of the freezer side

Plugged up drain. Unplug refrigerator. Remove basket at bottom of inside freezer ( it may be frozen in ice) . Get your hair dryer and thaw and remove all ice, At the very back bottom of inside freezer is the drain that is plugged up. You will see a hole, pour hot water into it. You may need to snake a flexible piece of wire through the hole. Once water goes down its open. Worst case you may have to remove drain tube in back bottom and clean out. Hope this helps

Water leaking

If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me

Leaking

If the seal and plungers are ok(bottom of tank), then most likely have a crack on the bottom of the tank, lot of times it will be under the seals, breaks away and will like out.
