I would like to find a dvd player compatible with xenta cy-1000 sorround sound

A standard DVD player will be able to give a surround-sound output. I do not think you will find a DVD player with a 6 lead connection.
Most DVD players I think have a Scart plug connector (rectangular plug with about 2x10 pins in two rows). You can get connector kits with a scart plug for the dvd and 6 phono plugs for the TV
If you search on Ebay for 'DVD to phono plug connector' costs about 3 GBP! Check the length of cable you need first.

Problem with my xenta surround system

Check that your speakers are still plugged in correctly. I am guessing by what you are saying the high end speaker is blown but the bass is probable still coming through. If you can, remove one speaker at a time and check on another source. If the speakers check out fine then you have a bad channel on the system. A short will also disrupt the sound...just jiggling the wires at the connectors can usually lead you to the right area.

Unfortunately Xenta Driver support is terrible. Their 'downloads' section is still 'Under Construction' and has been for some time.
