Question about Smith Corona Wordsmith 100 Typewriter
The typewriter types (and erases) all letters, but does not type the letters c,v,b, and n in either lower case or upper case. is this something easily fixed with the printwheel?
You have a key board problem. It may just need disassembly and cleaning but more likely it needs a new contact velum.

This problem is usually caused by an old ribbon theey do dry out when left in tthe typewriter a long time, also if the paper is really hard or has a slick surface the ink from the ribbon will not stick to the paper.
