SOURCE: Loud, high pitched hum from speakers . . .

This is GroundNoise from the TV's Backlight.

Sorry, but unless you are a Technician, you will simply need to ignore it.

If you are a technician, you can fix this by grounding the Audio ICs to the Power Supply (details not provided)

SOURCE: Play Ipod thru JVC CD car stereo using RCA cable?

JVC KD-S731R does not have the option of connecting an ipod. The RCA ports on the rear of the unit are a Line-Out. These RCA's only OUTPUT sound. Not an INPUT RCA that you require. The only other method of using an ipod with this stereo is to purchase an FM-Modulator to connect the ipod. Once purchased, you must connect the antenna wire coming from the vehicle to the module, then you must connect the antenna wire coming from the module to the stereo. The other wire will be connected to either a jack or a ipod specific plug depending on the type of modulator used.

Can't get headphones to work on this unit

Aux-in jack is used to play another device such as an Ipod or other sources through your Jensen player, using it as some sort of an amplifier. Look for another port on your Jensen player that says "audio out" or "Spkr" (means speakers) to plug in her headphones. If you can't find any of these ports then you might have purchased a n actual boom box, which does not have the capability to play through headphones, sorry about that.

My headphones crackle with loud music

your headphones my be damaged or "blown-out" This is common when played at high volumes. the crackling you hear is the result of the voice coil in the driver (speaker) contacting the cone. the only way to remedy this is to either replace the driver in the headphones or get better made headphones.
personally I recommend JVC RX300 because they are loud and have good sound quality and are cheap enough that the can be replaced when broken.

I have a Frontman Fender 25R, it has a power, the auxilliary input is working (the RCA, red and white ) sound is produce, when I plugged an electric guitar on the 1/4 input there is no sound coming...

You actually have the "B" version as the original 25R doesn't have RCA jacks. Anyway, on with your problem...

I want you to do a test: With a set of headphones plug them into the preamp output and then play your guitar... don't expect much loudness, it may be very faint and will ONLY be in one of the sides of the headphones. This tests the preamp section... have the guitar volume wide open.

IF you can hear the guitar that way, then the switch contact on the PA INPUT jack (not the preamp output) is not making contact. These jacks are really poor and the problem is not that uncommon. Fix is to open the unit and increase the spring tension on the contact or replace the jack. Never use the jack as they worsen evertime you plug something into it.

Note that the failing switch symptom MAY be broken soldering in the vicinity of the jack so look for that also. And also check the soldering of the guitar input jack as that is a common problem. Always loop your guitar cable through the handle so tripping over the cable doesn't break the jack by yanking the plug sideways... another common problem.

Line 6 spider 210 volume problem

The bypass switch in the headphone jack is likely broken. NEVER unplug the headphones while the amp is on.

There are certain small amps that have a possibilty of popping the power amp due to a feedback arrangement. Likewise, never use the headphone jack for ANYTHING other than headphones.

ITouch 2nd g only plays music throuhg left side of all headphones

Try playing with the headphone plug, until you can also hear the right
channel and also try a different set of headphones as it is probably a
matter of an intermittent headphone jack, or plug, owing to sudden
snatching of the headphone plug from same, a very common problem.

Eliminate this cause before submitting your Touch for much more
expensive remedies
