Getting ask homepage messed up my homepage get out of ask

Assuming you are using Internet explorer do this

Got to Tools (ALT+T) in browser
Pick Internet Options in Menu
In the General Tab you will see Box marked "Home Page"
Delete what is in there and insert
Press Apply Button at the bottom of the Window.
Then Press OK to get back to Browser.
Close Browser and your new home page will be
If you cannot get it changed this way, then you have a virus which is re-installing as a home page.
SUPERAntiSpyware Remove Malware Remove Spyware AntiMalware AntiSpyware...
to get rid of it. Then change the home page again.

How do I get google back as my homepage

First open browser and select "Tools" then select "Internet Options"(bottom of dropdown menu) in the "Home Page" box delete what is there already and type in and apply, then go to Control Panel>Uninstall a Program(Category Mode) and uninstall "Ask".

I want to remove Ask and make Google my homepage

I do not know your windows version. Let me try anyways,
1) Click -> Start -> Go to control panel -> double click on internet options.
2) In the window that comes up you, will see a section called Home page on the upper side. The url mentioned there would be for

4) Go to Control Panel again and double click on Add/Remove Programs, you will find some softwares related to "Ask" or "Ask search", uninstall those if you would want to.

Change my homepage to google

At the top of the page, click on settings, internet options, on the general tab, the first option shows the web address of your home page. Delete that and type in (or any address you want for your home page. Then click appy (down at the bottom of that page) and it will set it to your new homepage.
