Battery replacement J-10A

Good Morning Fhaas153

Looking at a J-10 picture on eBay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CASIO-J-10-ELECTRONIC-CALCULATOR-8-DIGIT-TESTED-/331587643662 , the picture of the rear says '1.5V battery x 2. Looking at this other shot
http://www.casio-calculator.com/Museum/Calculator/FGHIJ/J-10/Casio-J-10-back.jpg It looks like there is a fairly clear Slide-to-Open Battery door at the top of the rear panel. Given the battery rating at 1.5 Volts and the door size, I'd suspect it'll take either AA or AAA batteries. You should be able to slide the door and look, and most battery compartments will have an indication of the specific cell.

To be sure I'm covering both the what and the how, slide the door open. Remove old batteries if still there. Clean up contacts with a bit of fine steel wool if they are corroded or covered with old battery fuzz. Put new batteries in - negative end towards the coil springs generally. Replace sliding hatch.

Hoping this covers what you're looking for!

Growth rate between two periods population in 2000 is 206,000 and population in 2010 is 240,000. how to use calulator to get the growth rate used

You must first understand the problem on your own before you can do it on the calculator.
Calculate the difference in populations 240 000 -206 000
Calculate the time difference 2010-2000.
Divide the difference between populations by the difference in years.
Multiply the result by 100 % if you want a percentage value.

Use Casio fx570ms to calculate growth rate between two periods

Usually, population changes are not linear, but since you give only two points (2000, 206 000) and (2010, 240 000) that is all you can calculate. The average growth rate is given by the rise over run.
Growth Rate=(240 000-206 000)/(2010-2000)=34 000/10

Wont turn on

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this solution post. Thank you for choosing FixYa to assist you. You are having problems because you calculator won't turn on. I think you should try changing the batteries. Did you know that your calculator has two batteries powering it? Not only are the 4 AAA batteries powering it, but there is also a CR 3V Lithium Back Up battery powering it as well. First, try changing the 4 AAA batteries. If that still does not power your calculator properly, you will need to replace the lithium back up battery. You can find this at a department store or store that carries electronics. To do this, open your regular battery compartment. Above the AAA batteries is a compartment that says "BACK UP BATTERY CR1616 OR CR1620" with a picture of it. Use a small crosshead screwdriver to open the compartment. Take the old battery out and replace it with the new one. Rescrew the lithium battery compartment back on and close the AAA battery compartment. Turn on your calculator and see if that works. I hope this solution solves this.

1986 subtracted by 2010 = ?

Is this a joke? Count on your fingers from 1987 to 2010 you will find 24.
You can also use your calculator
2010-1986 = 24
1986-2010 = -24
