Gmc 2500 truck work blower does not work at all

Check your fuses for the blower motor. If they are ok, it is probably the blower fan resistor which is located on or next to the blower fan assembly under the passenger side dash in the footwell. if resistor is bad, there will be no fan speeds. make sure you are getting power to fan motor, if power but fan does not work then its the fan. check fuses and fan resistor first. good-day !

Heater blower stopped working?

Hello,
You may want to try your fan on all speeds. If it will work on high, you have a bad resistor for the fan motor. ( high speed doesn't go through the resistor ).
If it doesn't work on any speed, I would check the following;
1. Make sure the fuse isn't blown for the fan blower motor.
2. Check, or have checked the wires between the fan control switch and the fan blower motor.
3. Have the fan control switch checked.
4. Have the fan blower motor checked.

I hope this helps you.

Heater/defrost/ac does not blow in my 2006 tacoma. worked this morning, parked at work, came out half hour later and would not work.

what has most likely happened is that a fuse has blown that is in your blower fan circuit. Check your owners manual, and see if there is a fuse to that system, if there is, check and see if it is blown. If it isn't, then the problem could either be your blower fan itself, or your blower motor resistor. Generally, when the blower fan goes bad, no speeds of the fan work. When the Blower motor resistor goes bad, usually only 1 speed of the fan works. Try the first suggestion i gave, and it everything checks out in the fuse box, then try all of your fan speeds. If one works, you need a blower motor resistor, if none work, then it is most likely your fan. Let me know how it goes and i'll do my best to assist you further. good luck.

2005 Chevrolet Silverado - Fan not coming on. When I turn the heater/ac blower fan on, fan does not work. Prior to completely going out, fan would quit working intermittently. Is this a fuse problem? ...

Chk for power at the blower motor electrical connector. If no voltage, check the blower motor resistor, its within the blower motor vent (this controls power to the blower motor). Also, in theses vehicles water may have damaged the blower motor itself. Inspect the blower motor for proper function.

Check the fan relay(or fan module near the blower)or the fan switch itself,or the blower motor is bad,bump the blower motor while the switch,and key are on,if the blower starts working,it is bad.

Blower fan not working

the ac fan blower resistor has failed. The blower will not turn on but the ac clutch works. This is a common problem on several models. You will find on some that the fan will come on and the comp goes off at some settings. Have the resistor checked and verify power to the fan blower before spending a lot of money for a cheap repair. good luck

It is the blower motor resistor and is located under the glovebox behind the blower motor.
