Question about Facebook Social Network
Not showing correct name when logging in
Log out of the account by clicking the little gear icon in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out." You'll then be able to log in on your account.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: cant log in to facebook
1. first you can user the "forgot My Password" link and try again after the email was sent to you.
2. open Windows NotePad and type your password - this is to make sure you are typing it correctly.
3. copy the password- make sure you don't copy extra space at the end
4. try to log in by pasting what you copied.
another option is that Facebook has some login issues - try to wait a day and see if it continues

It seems some scripts on that page did not run well. You can try to adjust some settings of your browser or try to disable some antivirus firewall. Or you can try another web browser. To see the detail of the error, you can double click on the icon of the error on the bottom of the page and see what is the description of the error and then maybe google it for an existing solution for that. If it is something like object error or syntax error, most of time it is about the setting and permission of the browser. You can reset the options of Internet Explorer by clicking on Tools menu and then Internet Options. Then on that dialog box opened, you can try to change the security setting to a lower level and restore the Advanced Settings, or try to add this site to your trusted sites, but adding it to the trusted sites does not always help.

Sounds like a spyware problem to me. Try running Ad Aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/.
There is a low-level problem in the client or the Web server or both. 95% of the time this is because of a problem on the client system e.g. there is something unstable on your PC running the Web browser.
