Question about Beko Dishwashers

Open Question

Bbeko dw601 no programmes will start!

The dishwasher buttons have stopped working. There is definitely power to it and it was working fine yesterday! There are two programme lights lit at the same time (should only be one) and neither the programme select button, start button, or half load button are doing anything. I have tried turning the machine off at the power supply and leaving it for half and hour to reset it but it still has the same problem. Please help!

SOURCE: Machine won't activate

well I never heard of that brand so because you said a new flat Im guessing your form England. Good luck with the move. Ok I belive your problem is possibly the main control bord is bad.what you describe sounds like it. the only way to rest it it would be to replace the bord. doing that it should function normally. Good luck.

check the thermal cutoff located inside the door for continuity and check the heater to assure this is working as well you can also do continutity test on the heater if the heater is not functioning properly then unit will go no further into washing the same with the thermal cutoff if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations in the future Thanks again Rick

How do we put it through a test mode?

Here you go, both answers :>)
Bosch Dishwasher Troubleshooting Your Bosch dishwasher can run a test cycle which will quickly go through each stage of a wash programme in order to find out at what point a fault is occurring. It will only give you a general idea of where the problem lies but is a useful first step in diagnosing the issue.

The steps to start the test cycle vary depending on what model you have but the basic method is similar across the range. It might be that your dishwasher doesn't have the same button labelling as described in the steps below. In that case try holding down the buttons which have similar names. After a little trial and error you'll find the right combination.
  • Make sure the dishwasher is switched off.
  • Press and hold the Power Scrub Plus and Regular Wash buttons.
  • Turn on the dishwasher, then release the two buttons.
  • The light above each of these buttons should flash.
  • Start the test cycle by pressing the Power Scrub Plus and Regular Wash buttons again.
  • The test programme will begin and an error code will be displayed at the end of the cycle if a fault has been detected.
You can find a list of Bosch dishwasher error codes and their definitions here.

Error Codes are also here;

Will not run? Doing laundry yesterday an it stopped in middle of cycle. Now when I push start button it clicks but will not start. The lights all work so it has power. What is wrong?

turn the breaker off which should be in your furnace room.
Wait a few minutes and turn it back on. It will reset the computer in your machine and it should work just fine then. This also works on dishwashers.

I have a Miele G641 dishwasher and it wont drain and it is coming up with red lights saying inlet/outlet, salt intake

One thing these guys did not point out is to turn the knob to STOP before starting this procedure (otherwise you will be ignored) Once done this works fine.
-- from the manual ----------------
Before rectifying the problem you must:
- Turn the programme selector to the "Stop" position.
- Switch the dishwasher off using the "On/Off" button.

Stops part way through programme water still in machine. Now no power to machine. Problem happened yesterday - cleaned filter and pump - power came back. Programme started but then stopped. No power -...

Either there is a bad capacitor in the control panel, or the power supply has a faulty capacitor. You will have to get a multi-tester and test each component for resistance and current

No Power

You probably have a bad door switch assm, there is no reset on this unit, if you have a bad door switch the unit thinks the door is open so it won't start.

First place I would go is the door switches, make sure the dor switch assembly is not broken, and switches working.

Kitchenaid 24" SS dishwasher

the first thing to check is power. check your breakers to see if any are tripped. if so turn it off than on some breakers do not reset if you just switch them to the on position. also check if it has a plug or shut off switch in a cabinet nearby .

Sounds like the electronic controls (smart card) are acting up. Try shutting off the power at your fuse box or shut off the circuit breaker for 1 minute them turn the power on again. This fix quite often works on electronic appliances.
