SOURCE: problem with scanner

Yeah, from the manual, scan the following settings:
Scan Suffix
7
0
0
9
Scan Options
<DATA> <SUFFIX>
Enter

It's best to copy the necessary barcodes from the manual at 200% zoom, into a Word document and print it out.

SOURCE: Hello, I have charged the

Perhaps the battery has moved (due to a shock of the device) and is not connected (as it should be in the device).

Open the device and check that the battery is connected properly.
Then try to recharge.

Also, it's a good idea to remove the battery and test (with a voltometer) that it has some voltage.

Finally, if the battery was used for a long time or charged too often (without the battery being fully decharged), you might have to replace it.

If I were you, I would replace it with a stronger battery. according to specs, WWS500 have a 700mA battery, I would put a 100mA battery instead.

I changed the battery in my ms9535 & now it doesnt scan

First ,make sure to let it charge over night. Second, you may need to scan the bluetooth barcode located on the top of the charging cradle. This will tell the scanner which base to communicate with. If the charging cradle has a solid blue light, then the bluetooth connection is good.

My Wasp wws-800 works while in the docking station but not when removed, suspect li-ion battery but have not been able to find a replacement. Any ideas

your wws800 should have come with two batteries. One goes in the reception base and one goes in the scanner itself. You should allow for four to 6 hours to fully charge. When charged, scan the setup barcode on the bottom of the reception base and then the BASE code. This will allow your scanner to create a connection with the base. Give it 5 secs or so, you should hear three beeps.

My ls4278 is not lighting up when on the cradle, will not scan or charge...i have 3 scanners and cradles and somehow all the scanners stopped working completely..all the cradles have the light on but when...

The most unlikely scenario is that all the bases are defective. If you power your PC off every night, you should purchase a power supply so the scanners can continuously charge. Another issue may be that you need new batteries (also unlikely if they stopped working at the same time). Also try swapping scanners and bases (one scanner from one base and place it with another base) make sure you firmly place the bottom of the scanner in the base to verify there is a good connection with the charging pins. Symbol scanners (several models) not recognizing Code 39 Extended

The barcode must be a Code 39 barcode, not a Code 39 Extended or Full ASCII barcode. The Enable Code 39 Full ASCII must be scanned from the Symbologies section of the LS2208 Product Reference Guide (page 186 of 342). The Enable Function Key Mapping barcodes would have to be scanned if you are seeing something other than the tab happen when you scan into your application. In Word, for instance you will see the italics enable/disbled whenever the $I is encountered in the barcode.

As for the Covert to Code 39 Full ASCII- that is for Wand and Scanner emulation. The setting was having no effect because you were not connecting to either of these hosts.
