Question about Garmin Fishfinder 160 GPS Receiver
Hey guys my 160 will not show depth or bottom but will show temp and speed. i bought new ducer and still no work. it is a in hull ducer and works great with another 160 hooked to it. who can i have look at it garmin want? thanks roger j

Change your setting from saltwater to fresh water even if you fish in sea water,your transducer is a 00/200KHZ and not a 50/200KHZ.

Sounds like the transducer is installed at the wrong angle or in such a way that it is getting a lot of air from something on the hull. If it is a transom mount, check that it is angled correctly and not too close to the motor or aft of some kind of thru-hull fitting that will cause turbulence.
