Wont find channels on auto channel search

Ensure that you have a good connection to your antenna/cable/satellite, and that you have selected the proper signal type in your TV menu.

If you are using a cable box or satellite, you might need to search for an analog signal on channel 3 or 4. If your cable/satellite box outputs an HDTV signal, then search the digital channels. If you are using an antenna, search for digital channels and set it the TV to Air in the Channel menu.

Ive got a freesat dish and reciever but we get 90% signal but no quality any suggestions

Your on the wrong satellite, If your on any satellite youll get a high Signal but you wont get a high quality until your on the specific satellite. Astra 2A is for freesat. If you can bring that up on the menu then just keep moving the dish until the quality goes above 50% and that will suffice for a decent picture.

I cant hook up our dish network receiver and when i try to it only shows static and the channal on our remote wont work but we programed it and every other button works

So is this a chain saw or a dish receiver. If you use the remote that came with the satellite box, go to the signal strength meter and be sure you're receiving a satellite signal. You are probably using the RCA output from the receiver into your TV. Make sure you've selected the correct input that you have the receiver connected to. If you need more information, we'll need more information on the trouble your having with the type of TV, satellite box and connections. Unless of course it is really a Chain Saw.

GPS wont aquire a satellite

Hello there and happy new year
If Your Unit Cannot Acquire Satellite Signals
  1. For your Garmin GPS unit to acquire the satellite signals it needs to function properly, the unit must be taken outside, away from mountains, tall buildings and heavy foliage where it can get a clear view of the sky. Keep the unit stationary for several minutes while the GPS unit acquires the necessary satellite signals. It may take several minutes for the unit to locate a good solid signal
  2. OK
  3. Hope this is very helpful please keep me posted on this ok?
    Best regards Michael

MENU PICTURE ON TV BUT NO CHANNELS

This is a problem with weak signal strength, You will need to find a better place to put your television so it can receive enough signal to operate correctly. If this does not solve the problem, you will need to check the satellite box for problems with receiving the signal from the satellite. You may need help from the satellite company to check the signal strength output and input levels to make sure its working properly. I hope this information helps you solve you problem with the loss of satellite signal in your television. Thank you for using FixYa and have a nice day!
