My yves renaud ladies mechanical watch has stopped how do I fix it?

Mechanical clocks (and watches) need periodic service. Your watches probably needs to have it's works cleaned and reoiled. This needs to be done by a qualified watch repairperson, the internals of a watch are very delicate and can be easily damaged. Watch specific oil will also be needed as general lubricants like 3 in 1 and WD-40 can ruin your watch.
I repair clocks and watches daily, I operate a service and repair shop.

My watch stop working

Okay, so your watch stopped working huh? hmmmmm... there is probably only one or two or three solutions i can give you. 1): if your watch has stopped working then it must be broke .2): if it is a digital watch and takes batteries then you should probably change the batteries .3): if it is an analog clock, then you should get a new one. I'm sorry if these aren't the best answers i can provide you. but they are the best ones i have. hope these answers helped, if not. contact me at and I'll see what i can do.

I have a Timex Ironman T563719J. The digital clock is working, but the analog portion has stopped. Any ideas?

There are two batteries in the watch. One for the digital watch and the other for the analog watch. The battery for the analog side probably needs changing but when the back is opened, you might as well change both batteries.

Broken digital clock

First of all visit the FOSSIL site from my tips and tricks. If you can not find the solution there, check out if you have two batteries in your watch. It is quite common to have two batteries in Fossil watches (same do Timex). If nothing helps, you have to visit your nearest watch repair shop.

The digital portion of my watch is completely blank.. the analog works fine. Any idea what the problem is

You may have two batteries in your watch - one for analog and another for digital. Check that out and if this is the case - replace the battery for digital part. If there is only one battery - your watch's digital part has electronic failure and you will need professional watchmakers help to fix it.

Keep pressing 'select mode' button until you get to H-SET. Than hold 'adjust' button until screen starts to blink. Now you can adjust analog clock by pressing 'start/stop (search)' button. When you are finished, just press 'adjust' button once. That's all.

I have a Rado DiaStar watch (with digital display), and the hands are out of synch with the digital display. Is there a way of adjusting the hands independently of the display? or must it be sent back to...

Hears how i do my watch, i have the same watch as you.Just make sure nothing is displayed on the clock face by turning the winder, ie NO digital time, NO daul time, NO alarm, NO stop watch etc, Pull out the winder(crown) and adjust the hands to the time you require by spinning the winder.(Gentley for mins and fast for hours) The digital clock will display wilst doing this, but not change the time.handy if you want to sync both clocks.Push the winder back in at the time to sync and the digital display will go out, then spin the winder again if you want to display the digital features. I hope this helps, please post if it does, Maurice Chevalier- Herts
