I have the Rca portable dvd player model numberDrc69705e22 I am looking for the male to male usb cord that connects the two screens. I cannot find it anywhere and the male to male usb cord I founded not work because it was for a computer.
Thanks in advance for your rating.
The eject button is a slide type (not a push). you should slide it to right to open the lid, which is the rectangular part in the middle on top after you open the display. It opens the same way as the display of the DVD Player.
What you can do to get it open is there is a small hole on the cd drive. take a paperclip and straiten it ans strait as you can get it and put it strait in that hole and push then also you may need to push the eject button at the same time :)
Generally, having something like this repaired would cost more than it would to buy a new one.
Anything can be repaired, but consumer electronics have become so inexpensive that there are very few people who work on them anymore. (people don't get these kinds of things repaired, because it is cheaper to just buy a new one)
It is doubtful that a repair manual exists for your specific device. You may find something general for CD Recorders, but you would also need a wiring diagram for your device, a multitester, and some electronics engineering knowledge.
I too have recently found out that the cd portion of this radio was making strange noises. When i would press the open/close button, it would not open. I read your article and you mentioned you could not find the company mentioned. I did a reverse search on the address and came up with 5 different companies at the same address, neither of them being called "Vernurer Electronics" but other audio services. If you go to "whitepages.com" and click on the tab " reverse search" enter the address and you will see what i mean. I haven't found a solution to the cd door not opening but i'm still searching.
