The resolution is dependent on the settings. Did you check and adjust the pot controls? Check the connections from the source to see if any loose wires are in need of tightening? In some case HEAT causes the controls to go out of sync and give you a poor picture. Other than that, contact LG support services for their opinion.

SOURCE: My Lg TV is not displaying picture just a single line

If you have sound the problem is most likely the LCD panel but if you have no sound then it is going to be the main board.

Possible failure of the SMPS power supply. Please check the fuse and switch after disconnecting and checking the circuit.

Check the soldering on the picture tube neck PCB. If possible resolder all the point in the pcb. There is some problem wit the filament voltage. It can be because of drysoldreing.

I have bought LG DV456 model DVD player and I am connecting this DVD player to my LG FLATRON 1200 Golden eye TV using the cable yellow, white, red to Y, Pr, Pb to support progressive scan but it is not...

You are using the wrong cable, my friend. The RCA cables (red, white, yellow) will not work. These cables are known as composite cables (the red and white carry the audio and the yellow carries the video). they will not support progressive scan!

A word of advice: If BOTH of your units support HDMI, that's what you want. If either of them do not, then you want to use component cables (red, blue, green), although you must know that you will still have to hook up audio of some sort. If you have the capability to use optical digital audio, use this if you must use the component cables.

But again, if both units support HDMI, use it because it caries audio and video at the highest level of resolution and saves you lots of potential problems. Good luck. . .

I have a 21inch TV (LG golden eye) which is 10 years old from and now i am facing a problem that when i switched on the tv the standby LED of the tv blinks for a few seconds and then automatically off....

This is line output transformer problems. Before changing LOT,watch any dry soldering is there and also check vertical output ic is good or bad ?by replacement methode.
NOTE- if you know the protection pin, isolate the pin and switch on tv through 200watts bulb seriesly.then watch the symptomes.
Thanking you
