My power wheelchair Quantum 4Front power footrest is not working. Stuck in an upright position. I think a connection is loose somewhere.

If your Quantum 4Front power wheelchair's leg rest function is not working and stuck in an upright position, it is possible that there is a loose connection somewhere. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check the power supply: Ensure that the power wheelchair is properly connected to a power source and that the battery is fully charged. A low battery can sometimes cause issues with the leg rest function.
2. Inspect the wiring: Carefully examine the wiring and connections for any signs of damage or loose connections. Look for any disconnected or frayed wires that may be causing the issue. If you find any, try reconnecting or repairing them as necessary.
3. Reset the wheelchair: Some power wheelchairs have a reset button or a sequence of buttons that can be pressed to reset the system. Refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions on how to perform a reset for your Quantum 4Front power wheelchair.
4. Contact customer support: If none of the above steps work, it is best to reach out to Quantum Rehab customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or guide you on how to get the leg rest function repaired or replaced if necessary.
Remember to refer to the user manual or contact Quantum Rehab customer support for specific instructions related to your model of power wheelchair.

How to treat and cure Shin Splints fast?

The basic treatment should be like any other muscle type injury and follow the famed R.I.C.E.R process (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation and Referral to a professional)
Ideally start RICER within 48-72 hours of the injury. I realise you may have been suffering with them for some time, in which case get onto it now.
Taking some Anti inflammatory tablets
Rest -
Keep your leg(s) as still as possible. Slows blood flow and prevents more damage.
Ice -
Crushed ice in a bag, frozen bags of peas etc. This works wonders in reducing swelling. Wrap the ice bags in a damp towel to stoop skin damage. Try to apply for 20 minutes for 48-72 hours (when awake!)
Compression -
Wide, firm elasticated bandages around the area above and below.
Elevation -
Raise the leg above heart level all possible times. Reduces swelling and bleeding.
Referral -
If it is severe and you can hardly walk hours after the onset of pain then you should get to a pro physio or sports doctor for a specific rehab to further reduce injury time.

Invacare leg rests stuck in upright posistion

This happens for a lot of reasons. Try using something like a small hammer to tap the release lever loose. If the bar that slides to hold the footrest is bent or badly nicked, consider replacing that part from a place like Ocelco.com.

Kickstand fell off on a road king and not sure how it goes back

To replace the 2011 Touring jiffy stand leg FIRST support the motorcycle with a suitable lifting device so it securely upright and level and the jiffy stand is able to move through its full range of travel, move the jiffy stand to the full forward or down position, remove the hex bolt, the lockwasher, the flat washer and the leg stop, swing the jiffy stand forward beyond the normal down position and remove the end of the spring from the jiffy stand, remove the leg from the bracket, remove the other end of the spring from the frame weldment, inspect all of the parts for wear/damage and replace if and as necessary. TO install the leg FIRST apply SILVER GRADE ANTI-SEIZE compound to the area of the leg that rotates within the bracket, verify that the end of the spring enters the hole from the front of the leg weldment because if the end of the spring enters the hole from the rear of the weldment the spring coil will rub on the leg when in use, install the end of the spring into the hole in the frame weldment, insert the leg up through the bracket, swing the jiffy stand forward beyond the normal down position and install other end of the spring into the hole in the leg weldment. Be careful to install the leg correctly because if it is installed incorrectly excessive wear can occur which will allow the vehicle to fall when rested on the jiffy stand. THEN holding the leg at the normal forward (down) position, install the stop over the threaded end with the stamped side down, verify that the longer side of the stop faces the rear of the motorcycle, install the flat washer, the lockwasher and the hex screw and tighten it to 15-20 ft-lbs (20.3-27.1 Nm), extend and retract the jiffy stand several times to verify proper operation, freely swinging to both the fully extended and the fully retracted positions, move the jiffy stand to the full forward (down) position and remove the lifting device and let the motorcycle rest on the jiffy stand, verify that the rubber stop is installed in the hole of the jiffy stand weldment to prevent damage to the painted finish.

To remove the 2011 touring jiffy stand bracket FIRST lift and support the motorcycle in a fully upright position off of the jiffy stand, remove the left rider footboard and support brackets, remove the jiffy stand leg, remove the two fasteners and the lockwashers to release the jiffy stand bracket from the frame weldment.

To Install the 2011 touring jiffy stand bracket FIRST install the two fasteners and lockwashers to secure the front of the bracket to the frame weldment, temporarily install the footboard rear fastener to align the rear of the jiffy stand bracket but do not tighten it, tighten the front fasteners to 36-42 ft-lbs (48.8-57.0 Nm), install the footrest and install the jiffy stand leg.

Hauck shopper 11 how to elevate base into sitting position

Have you tried using the strap at the back of the seat and using the black toggle to hold it into place. I am having a problem when the seat is upright position and you fold the pushchair the clips that hold the seat undo. The shop where I brought it from says you have to have the seat flat to fold the pushchair. But the seat string/toddle gets stuck. Anyone else having this problem?

Machine

This has to do with where on the body the positive electrode is placed..in aVR the positive is on/near the right leg...a positive deflection, upright wave, is seen if the electrical activity, heart depolarization, is traveling towards the positive electrode...since the heart is rotated towards the left in the chest, normally electrical activity trends left...so in lead aVR the electrical activity is traveling away from the right so it gives a downward deflection of the waves

I have a quantum 6000 chair and whenever I need to raise my chair for a period of time, my legs just dangle and begin hurting. Any suggestions or solutions for a temporary foot rest while my chair is...

Jal Check with your provider and ask them for a pair of Elevated Leg rests for your chair. They might have to install the holders for the leg rests but that is an easy job. And they are fairly inexpensive and can be put on and taken off easily. Hope this helps you
