Computer failing Ok first i was on a game ( Garry's Mod) and then my computer wigged out n froze. After that wen it rebooted it BSOD with a 0x000000116 error. I asked my freind and he helped me with that problem but once i got into the computer and was loading the desktop, there were vertical hues lines of yellow running down the screen. I thought it mite be my screen so i tried another screen but no luck. Same vertical hue lines running down the front of my screen. Also i now cannot play any games at this time because the computer tells me that i dont have the hardware acceleration graphics for it. After that we tried a new card and the computer would not start at all so i thought it mite be the power supply so we tried a spare power supply. The computer now turns on but the screen wont come up with a CMOS splash. We tried taking out the video card and running it with on board graphics but it still doesnt work any 1 have any ideas as to wat the problem is.

We tried removing the RAM 1 by 1
    We tried with no RAM
We tried useing onboard video instead of video card.
We tried unplugging everything except monitor, keyboard, mouse
    No beeps from the Motherboard

So its looking like a motherboard issue then, or is there a fix around it?

Since you have tried with multiple video cards and still can't get it running I would say try different memory, remove one piece at a time and try again if you have more than one piece in it. It sounds like the motherboard has a problem to me.

Gateway MT6840 unexpectedly shut down and wouldn't

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

A blue screen appears when i turn on my computer.... sayin "a problem has been detected and windows has beed shut down to prevent damage to your computer."

A blue screen or Blue Screen Of Death, BSOD, is generally caused by a corrupt driver or a bad software installation.
First, you need to determine the STOP code that is on that screen.
  • Start in safe mode, press F8 repeatably as the computer starts up,
  • check Disable automatic restart on system failure (This prevents Windows from automatically restarting if an error causes Windows to fail.)

OK, now the BSOD will stay there so you can determine what caused your problem. Report back the stop code and any information about a driver that caused the problem so we can be of further help.
If this answers your question, I would appreciate 4 thumbs

So many computer face this blue screen fetal errors on windows.

This error comes usually when there is problem in software or driver compatibility issue with hardware or operating system.
Also this error comes when there is bed indexing unit in hard drive.
You can solve this errors with following 2 methods.
(1)When you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode.
Then if you are able to enter in safe mode then uninstall driver or software which you installed recently and face this error.
(2)If you are not able to enter in safe mode Then you need to fix error on hard drive. For that you need windows disk or recovery disk.
Boot your computer with that disk
For that when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 "del" key to enter in bios.
Then go to boot menu and set first boot device as your cd or dvd rom.
Then save settings and exit bios.
Insert windows disk in cd /dvd rom.
Then it boot with that disk. Then you get this message "Press any key to boot from cd.."
Then press any key.
Then follow the procedure then enter in recovery console mode then type in prompt "chkdsk /r"

Its may be of low virutal disk space increase it at right click on mycomputer --> click on properties --> select advanced --> under performance click on settings the top most one --> then click on advanced again --> under virtual memory click on change --> select the operating system drive and increase the value and click on set and click on ok --> ok if this dosent solve the problem then the issue might be with your operating system got corrupted better you reinstall your operating system

During online game play-screen freezes after playing a game or two?TW2007

When you say the screen freezes, do you mean the entire computer freeze, forcing you to reboot it? Or did the game freeze, and you're able to ALT+TAB or CTRL+ALT+DELETE your way out of the program?
If the whole computer froze, it's likely to be a heat-related problem on your CPU or GPU. You can check your temperature using several utilities, such as Speedfan or Everest, or very likely in your BIOS as well. Different CPUs have different overheating temperatures, but usually they shouldn't be above 80 degrees C at extreme load times.
If it's above that, try cleaning your fan using a can of compressed air (You can buy that at any computer shop), moving your cables inside your computer for better air flow, or (as a last resort) open the side of your computer case.
If it's only the game that froze, and not the whole computer, you could check your graphics drivers, or check for any patches for the game itself.

Try rebooting to Safe Mode. Right-click on My Computer and hit Properties. In the System Properties window, click on Advanced. Then click on Startup/Recovery Settings. Uncheck Automatic Restart. Then post the BSOD Stop Code here.
