Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer
The gas dryer will not ignite and start to heat the dryer. I canger the burner ignitor with kit 279311 and i believe i hooked it up properly. What else could be broke?
UNPLUG the dryer! Remove the rear panel of the dryer and
locate the fuse. It is white and ¼” wide and 3” long. It is located on the
blower housing. Remove the wires and check to see if it has continuity. If it
does not, you need to replace it. If there is no rear panel, remove the front lower half and you will see the fuse there on the blower housing. Most models have a sensor on the side of the burner for the ignition too. The fust is the most common problem.
However, if the ignitor glows, you will need to change the coils on top the gas valve.
