Question about Televison & Video
When playing DVD's the background sound (not voices) disappears below a certain level, especially ambient noise or soft music. i have looked at the settings and tried changing things but nothing has made a difference yet. I have turned the Dolby off, but this makes no difference either.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

This unit has a chronic problem with the insulator material used on the heat sink on the ic's on the AV Bd. The unit must be disassembled and the AV bd. removed. The insulation on especially IC 2502 breaks down and must be cleaned off of the bd. and the ic and new insulator part # PSPAZA663WJKZ must be ordered and used as the insulator pad. If you send me an email to email@example.com I can send you the copy of the Sharp technical bulletin LCDTV-194.

SOURCE: i can't hear voices when
You should also check your DVD playback software and make sure that you have it set for desktop/laptop speakers and NOT for something like 5.1 or 7.1 surround etc.
