How do I clean a Greece stain on a leather sofa?

Assemble your ingredients. If you've just spilled some butter or your boots or gotten bacon grease on the couch, it's best to leap into action right away. If you catch it quick enough, all you need to clean your leather item is:
  • A microfiber cloth
  • Talcum powder
Dab as much of the grease as possible with the cloth. Gently blot at the grease stain, trying to absorb as much of it as possible as quickly as possible. The trouble with cleaning leather is that it tends to absorb liquid, especially grease, making it difficult to clean topically once it's been absorbed.
  • Avoid scrubbing the leather. This can damage the fine grains of the leather, making the stain worse. Blot gently and use some kind of lint-free microfiber cloth.
Find the grain of the leather. Just like wood, leather has a direction of texture. You'll have more success in applying any cleaner if you apply it along the lie, as opposed to across it. In other words, any time you wipe or blot at the leather, you want to do it with the grain.
  • If you're having trouble finding the grain, try and work from the "outside" of the stain in to the center. At the very least, you'll be able to shrink the stain this way.[1]
Spread talcum powder on the item. Use regular household baby powder to soak up the grease. Be liberal with your application of the powder. It works particularly well at drawing the grease out without damaging the leather because it's more absorbent than the leather is, as long as you get there in time.
  • Let the powder sit overnight, or at least several hours to do its work.
Gently brush the talcum powder off the item. Using a cloth, gently brush off the talcum powder. Be careful not to scrub the powder back into the leather, working the grease back out.

Remove bleach stains

I don't think you're going to get bleach stains "out". The bleach has removed the tanning in the leather and it's not coming back. Have you tried polishing them with the same, or similar colored shoe polish like Ki Wi (sp?) shoe polish? if not, maybe a cobbler can tan them with products he has?

How can I remove stains from my leather electric massage chair?

Before applying a cleaning solution directly to the stained area for the first time I strongly suggest testing the cleaning product in an inconspicuous area of the chair to ensure that it does not damage the color of the leather. The removal process depends of the type of stain. For ink stains, dab a cotton swab in alcohol and rub it into the area, then use a blow dryer to dry the region where the stain once was. For blood, food and other dark stains you can create a homemade paste solution consisting of tartar and lemon juice. Try rubbing that on the area and leave it for about 10-15 minutes. After you can wipe it off with a damp cloth.

Every time i wear blue jeans in my 2011 Lacrosse the leather gets stained blue. This does not happen with any other articles of clothing. It is not limited to one pair but all blue jeans

Shot out of the blue (no pun intended). Try boiling the jeans in a salt water solution, it might set the colour and remove excessive dye. No guarantee but might be worth a try.

How do I clean my stormbuck boots from Timberland? The store did not know

Considering everything that we might step in during the day, it's a wonder that we bring our shoes into our homes at all. Cleaning our shoes not only gets all that grime back out the door, but it makes the shoes look better and last longe
Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • Shoe brushes
  • White vinegar
  • Soft cloths
  • Nylon bristle brush
  • Pencil erasers or fine sandpaper
  • Leather cleaner or saddle soap
  • Leather conditioner
  • Waterproofer
  • Shoe polish
  • Shoe polishing cloths
  • Baking soda
  1. Clean smooth leather shoes by first removing the laces and giving them a vigorous brushing with a shoe brush.

  2. Clean salt stains from shoes by mixing equal parts white vinegar and water and dampening a small cloth. Use the cloth to scrub the stained area. For suede or nubuck, use a nylon bristle brush.

  3. Use leather cleaner or saddle soap to clean the leather with a soft cloth. Pay particular attention to the seams.

  4. Clean suede or nubuck with a pencil eraser or fine sandpaper, then rub with a bath towel to bring up the nap again.

  5. Apply leather conditioner to all leather shoes, taking care to use the correct kind for smooth leather or suede. Conditioner keeps your shoe leather soft.

  6. Waterproof your shoes.

  7. Polish your shoes to help protect them and to give them a clean-looking gloss.

  8. Deodorize your shoes by sprinkling a generous amount of baking soda into them and shaking the shoes to distribute it inside. Let stand overnight, and then shake the baking soda out
