Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-32FS120 32" TV
32 inch sony wega kv-32fq86b 16 blink cant find this code anywhere anyone know what it is
These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can vet an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. Standby light blinking is a fault indication in Sony sets. You just count the exact number of blinks at one time, after switching on and off the set by its front panel power control switch, NOT BY THE REMOTE CONTROL HANSET. Just inform me the exact number of blinks occur there, after counting it at least four times. It will help me to reach the faulty stage, of sometimes to the exact fault location also. OK.
