Hyundai error 5 cd player - Car Audio & Video

Try a different CD? If you have an it did the same I would consider replacing the player

The motor that spins the disk no longer works, disassemble the cd player and replace your cd motor with a new one. Radio shack has them, but I suggest replacing your player with an aftermarket unit like sony, kenwood, audiovox, or any other high quality cd players.

you could try to power down the radio, by either pulling the fuses or disconnecting the battery. But usually if everything else works, you will need to have the radio replaced or sent for repairs

I just got the same message today...and rarely use the cd player. Was wroking, went to change cd's, then it would not load and gave error 43...anyone?????
