Hansgrohe shower head holder loose

The holder of the shower head (hansgrohe 97651000) is loose: shower head tilts front down by its own weight (vertical fastening is still working well). How can that be tighthened?

Grab a wrench and give it at least a quarter-turn. Hand tight isn't enough with a shower, even with teflon tape.

SOURCE: Leaking hand shower

If it is leaking right where the hose connects to the hand shower, there is usualy a rubber washer inside that may have shifted or need to be replaced. Overtightening is the number one cause for leaks on these. I would try to repair before replacing, as hand showers are costly. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Hansgrohe Ecostat (with part 94282000

Check the 94282000 cartridge for debris on the filters. If your boiler requires a certain flow rate to come on, then you must get enough flow through the cartridge to make that happen. Also, if your boiler is producing very hot water, the cartridge will self regulate and reduce the hot flow accordingly. try lowering the output temperature of the boiler to resolve that possibility.

There should be a tensioning knob on the left side of the slider. You should be able to tighten this tension knob and keep the slider from slipping down the bar. If you need further help feel free to contact me Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough.

Hansgrohe shower head leaking

If the shower head is constantly dripping and not shutting off it is most likely the valve in the wall not the head itself. How is the head leaking? Where/when does the water show up? Feel free to contact Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech. We would be happy to help.

I have a axor Grohe shower head ona rail. It is starting to slide down the rail on it own.

There may be a tension adjustment screw on the slider that you can adjust to add tension between the slider and bar. If it is an Axor or Hansgrohe wall bar You can call Hansgrohe Technical services. We can help you identify and adjust or reapir this unit. Feel free to give me a call at 1-800-334-0455. Ask for David Scarborough. I'd be happy to help.

Hansgrohe shower head water leaking out of connector

Is it a Grohe or Hansgrohe shower head? If it is a Hansgrohe shower head the first thing to check is if the self sealing filter gasket is installed at the connection to the shower arm. Hansgrohe shower heads have a black self sealing filter gasket in the head that some people remove assuming it is a flow restriction device. It is only a filter and does not restrict flow unless clogged with debris. Next make sure the flow restriction device below the filter gasket is still installed. On some models removing the flow restrictor will cause water to be expressed from the air injection ports near the pivot ball. Feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe. 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for Technical and ask for David Scarborough

My Hansgrohe e high arc 2-spray pull down faucet #06697860 - the pull down sprayer continues to slip out of the faucet when I turn the faucet on. How do I fix this?

The faucet is "pulled" back into its holder by the force of a small weight which is attached to the hose. Either the weight has slipped down the hose or it's getting hung-up on something under the sink.
If it has slipped, loosen the phillips-head screws which hold it in place and slide it up toward the faucet. Tighten the screws and check to see if it holds. If it doesn't, something like electrical tape, or a thin nylon zip-tie will hold it there. Just wrap the hose underneath the weigh so that it can't slide down.
If the weight is hanging up on something, you'll have to figure out how to stop it from happening. Moving the weight up a bit usually wont make the faucet difficult to use. People don't usually pull it out all the way.
Hope this helps.

try taking the shower head off and see if there is something stuck in it. sometimes things will come through the water lines and lodge themselves in the valves as well. if the shower head isn't clogged try dismantling the valve that turns the shower head on and then turn the water on when its out and flush the port out.
