Sounds like its blocked stick the broom handle thru it , there might be something plugging the hose under the bottom at the connection

Hoover floor mate h3000 will not suction water from floor when cleaning

Your collection canister may not be positioned tight enough in its place ment site. Tip machine back using foot pedal (as if you were going tio start using machine to clean) Insert collection canister (bottom container, then insert top canister with solution. The two canisters must be flush with machine side seams and must sit in position tightly. This is sometimes very tricky and may take a little elbow grease to make it click into place. Hope this helps

There is no suction on Hoover Floormate. Have cleaned everything I can see or remove

check the hose from the base to the water channel when handle is down, and see if the hose is split and open. it becomes brittle and breaks as it ages.

No Suction

The water channel hose could be torn. you can check by removing the lower tank and tilting it backwards, it is located in the lower section. could also be the filter cover. it is needed for full suction control.

Brushes spin but the dirt does not go into suction hose

Most likely you have a clog. Starting at the brush head check every part of the lines for debris. More than likely YOUR clog is in the hose... easy enough to take a broom handle and gently push it through the hose (while the hose is NOT attached to the vacuum) Once you find the clog, you may have to use a little more pressure, but do so carefully, as you don't want to damage the hose itself.

Poor suction-need to know how to remove & clean filter under canister of Hoover Wind Tunnel Mach 4.7 Twin Chamber System.

I assume this is a Hoover Bagless, if poor suction, the hose or dirt inlet by the brush roll may have a clog. The filter inside the dirt container may need replacement. Some had a screw to take out to remove the cover for the filter, the one under where hte dirt container sits. Alos the belt may be stretch and won't turn the brush roll under load. Having the model number would help.

Loss of suction in my Hoover Windtunnel bagless selfpropelled upright

Did you check the dirt inlet by the brush roll, filters ok, they should be replaced once a year. Belts can look fine, but if they are a few months old, I am sure they have stretched and the brush roll will not turn like it should under load. It is possible that the motor isn't running up to speed, thereby reducing suction.

My Hoover is picking dust , very poorly

The Telios has a bad design on the handle and it sounds like something has definately got stuck. Unfortunately the nature of the cheap European design means the handle can only be removed by someone who owns a vice in their garage without breaking the removal points. Alternatively find a long bamboo stick or pole to put inside the hose mount which connects normally from the main bin of the Telios (not the other way around up the handle) which has no sharp edges and push up and down vigourously to dislodge any clogged dirt which may have inadverntely got stuck either by the handle or in the hose itself.

Another thing to do is to check the suction from the Telios itself by removing the hose. If there is suction coming from the main dirt bag/bin door with the hose removed then there is no problem other than a clogged hose and handle. Hoover updated the handle and hose in 1999 and spares can be found by looking on Ebay.co.uk for cheaper prices.

My hoover floormate won;t suck/ suction anything!

Things to check: Check again that the pipes aren't clogged. Check all the way through from where the muck goes in to where it's supposed to end up, paying particular attention to places where the pipe narrows, goes round a bend, or changes material. Check the machine doesn't just need emptying. Wet/dry machines usually have some sort of float operated stop valve to stop you flooding the motor when you've filled it with water. Make sure this isn't stuck shut. Check everything from the impellor right back to where the muck goes in is airtight. It doesn't take a huge hole to lose you a lot of suction. Pay particular attention to places that are meant to come apart routinely, and places where hoses join to hard fittings. If in doubt, run the machine and listen for sucking noises. If there's a filter between the fan and the air outlet (there usually is) make sure it is clean Assuming the motor is running, check it is turning the fan impeller. Hopefully, one or other of these will get you somewhere. A.

Hoover Windtunnel

Mine does the same thing. There is no suction. I found that there is a door that opens when you tilt the handle in the down possition. I think there should be a spring in place so it can open. Until I find a replacement spring I have to open the door manually throught the opening under the light.
