It's in the gas tank attached to the float assembly.
Somewhere on the gas tank, find where the tubes connect. They'll connect to a round disk shaped thing about 5" to 6" in diameter that's bolted to the tank. The pump is one of the things attached to the other side of that disk inside the tank. The rest of what's attached to the other side of that disk loosely resembles a toilet valve assembly in a toilet tank.
Google images for "1992 infiniti g20 fuel pump float assembly" to see what it all looks like. Google again but leave off 'float assembly' to see pictures of just the pump.
Hi,you have to change the float. Or if you don't have the new one ,you can put something under the float to fix it on the top. Then just have to seeing the water level in the tank, becouse the float is always on the top of the tank and the machine doesn't know when the water is finishing.
the water tank has a float inside, the float has a magnet. the machine senses the position of the magnet and indicates water ok/not. sometimes the magnet rusts inside the plastic casing, renders it less magnetic so it wont work. or the float is missing- fell out while you were cleaning the tank. you will need a new magnetic float to fix the problem.
The float switch is a proximity sensor. There's a float in the tank that triggers the notification when it leaves the proximity of the sensor, located on the right side of the tank cavity. Try cleaning everything and make sure the float is moving freely in the tank.
I've had this problem. Looks like its the float in the back corner of the water tank, which contains something magnetic that must trigger a sensor. I put a piece of plastic in the float chamber to push the float closer to the side of the tank. Be careful, if you jam the float (in the up position) then you may run out of water without any warning. Very annoying when you can't get your morning coffee.
hello in the water tank they is a float it was probably out of water for a while and the float is stuck take the container in our hand and tap it gently by doing that the float gonna get loose move the container you gonna ear the float move put it back fill with water enjoy cheers
