Projector suddenly went unresponsive

open the bulb assembly and check if the bulb has fused / broken into pieces.if not then the ballast unit that powers the bulb is at fault and needs replacement
if the bulb has fused/broken , then probably the bulb that u had replaced 3 months back wasnt genuine!

Hello, I recently replaced my bulb in my projector. It was working fine and it turned off all of a sudden. When I power it back on the lamp tries to light up but it can not turn over and then it tries

Possible that the quality of the bulb is questionable. So please make sure that you buy one from the authorized dealer or one which is given a warranty for working hours /time.

The projector will not turn on. Do you think we need a new bulb?

I just fixed one Optoma DV10 that was dead, cold joints in power supply; resoldered and work fine now.

Dell 3200MP projector. Lamp warning light comes on after approx 30 minutes of use and the lamp turns off. Bulb is new. I am not sure what the warning light is indicating.

The ambient temperature in the room is to high.
Try lowering the room temperature. If that doesn't work
get a small fan and place it near the projector to provide
extra cooling. The projector is running border line on
high temperature and just needs a little extra cooling.

Hp VP121 needs new bulb?

Hi there

Take out the lamp and check for any marks on the inside ( shaft ) of the lamp. If there is marks or discolouration on it then you can be 100% sure it is the lamp.

InFocus LP725 light goes out after 10 minutes

The Projector will turn off after so many hours of running the same bulb module. The counter will turn on a replace bulb LED. Installing the new bulb module should reset the counter and turn off the LED.

Check the projector’s lamp to ensure that it is securely connected
in the lamp module. Make sure by removing it and reinserting it.

Check the cables for problems.

When testing, power up in this order. Projector, Computer monitor, Computer.

A minor power surge may cause the lamp to shut off. Turn the
projector off, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

I hope these suggestions help

Projector overheating and turns off after 20 mins

I have a HP VP6111 projector that works fine on a table top but overheats ( overheating ) when turned upside down and hung from my ceiling. My solution...I went to Circuit City and bought two 80mm computer fans. I also purchased a 12V power supply from Radio Shack. I put one fan on front of my projector and the other on the back of the projector and wired them into the 12V power supply. I mounted both fans with velcro. The front fan pushes air and the rear fan pulls air. The projector now runs fine without shutting off. The fans are 12V and push 34 cubic feet per minute of air. I am very happy with this solution.
