How do i reset user name n password on laptop

Go into windows as administrator and reset your password. If you don't have the administrator password, take it to an authorized repairer. If you mean the hdd password, and you haven't got the password, purchase a new hdd and set up a new system. The old hdd is not usable.

My dell d610 is asking for a hdd password. what would it be there is no password for this computer?

HDD password? Is the laptop encrypted? Unless it s a system password set in the BIOS. You'll have to know what that is or reset it.
Reseting the BIOS requires taking apart the laptop and finding the CMOS battery and shorting it.

Please enter HDD1/SSD1 User password

If you get prompted for the HDD password when turning on the computer, and you do not know it you will need to call Toshiba support. Circumventing an HDD password is not an easy task.
Also there where Toshiba laptops, model 6100, that when the user was suddenly prompted for the HDD password Toshiba replaced the HDD under warranty.
