How do I stop youtube from buffering?

Buffering is the process of loading the video from Youtube servers to your screen. The buffering depends mainly on speed of your internet connection. You can try the following options
  1. Switch to a highspeed internet connection
  2. Once the video starts, press the pause button. Leave it for 5-10 min and then try playing

It could be many issues but is most likely caused by the video running out of buffer, essentially the "stream" of information being sent to your computer can't quite keep up with the video speed. If you wait a couple minutes (or seconds, depending on your internet speed) then the video will resume playing.

Problem with LG TV LM6200 playing youtube

The small circling thing is the video is buffering. Unless you have a super fast band width, this is very common. Your TV is working fine.

When I watch a video clip from, say HUFFINGTON POST, the sound has many droupouts. As if my PC can not keep up and skips to compensate. Yes it is a 10 year old Pentium PC. Would a new autio card help...

Maybe you just don't have enough memory to stream the video. Is it just the sound that drops out or does the video freezes while it buffers up to start playing again?

Check and see how much Memory you have by clicking Start/Control Panel/System or Start/Settings/Control Panel and look for System or System and Performance.

What happens when you watch a dvd movie, does it freeze and have sound dropouts? If so you probably need more memory or a faster processor. If not, the problem could be your line speed. Some internet service providers sell different packages whereas the cheaper the package the slower the line speed. That means your downloads, uploads and streaming videos will be slow if you have a slow line speed.

I have my wii hooked up to netflix and several times during any movie i watch it stops and retrieves. When it is through retrieving it starts back up playing

This is a common problem, what is happening is that it cannot get the data fast enough over your connection. You need to, if you can, open up your "Buffer Size" or simply download the movie first and NOT stream it, most times most peoples connections will give trouble streaming Movies. They say you can watch it, Online, as it were, well in my experience that's only true for about 50 - 60% of the time, many many reasons can contribute to problems transmitting and receiving the data. Another way is to stream the data in, but do not watch anything until, your PC has saved about say 20% then you should have enough of a Buffer so that you will be able to receive the data and still be able to watch it at the same time. Also ensure you have lots of HDD space and lots of RAM too, these all help. Also clean out your TEMP and TMP dir's regularly too.

Streaming Video starts and stops

This is a very common problem and the possible solutions are many, but the most common problem is that the computer is a bit slow for such things as watching videos on the Internet. You could check your performance tab under Task Manager to see how your computer CPU speed is affected while starting videos. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del keys to bring up the task manager, then go to the performance tab and watch for the percentage CPU usage while under load. Also make sure that your Internet speed is fast enough. Also, sometimes programs such as anti-virus programs will activate when you do something new like start a new program and it will cause delays in the software. The solution for this would be to try another anti-virus software or disable it temporarily just to see if that is the problem.

Problem with Video

Have you been able to watch videos on YouTube prior to this without any hassle?
There are a couple of diagnosis to this situation:-
1. you are downloading or have other programs using your internet bandwith which is causing the buffer to slow right down.
2. your internet speed has dropped due to shaping or even a reduce in plan rate.

When watching a video press pause and let the movie buffer then you will be able to watch the video with out the frame jumps.
