Question about FixYa Service

To become a Fixya expert all you have to do is answer questions and help others with their product problems.
As far as making money, Fixya experts no longer recieve compensation for solving problems. The service was discontinued a few years ago.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

If you wanted to be an Expert Moderator is by categories like Computer is your have all the Expert Badge as really you are a Guru of that Expert Badge.
It means you have all of them like for example: HP and all the Company provide by solving problems.
All of them.

Please go over these FAQ's:
It is not a scam. You will not become rich off of here. For most it is a little extra spending money. It all depends on what your area of expertise (AOE) is/are and how many problems you solve satisfactorily.
Once you get an account and get Premium Expert status you will be able to choose your form of payment.
To get paid, you must choose a way to get paid. There is some discussion right now about the methods of payment. There are only 2 now: (1) Direct Deposit into a US bank checking account. (2) Payoneer, which is a debit card. Many are upset at Payoneer's fees but have no choice because they are not in the US.
Fixya recently dumped PayPal and getting paid by check for whatever reason. You can read about it in the Expert's Lounge once you are approved.
And finally...No, you do not pay anything. (Except those Payoneer fees.)
