SOURCE: cect i9 wont charge battery is fine

The I9 battery charger is th problem. There is a small tab on the bottom edge of the batery that allow it to clip in the phone. This tab prevents the battery from going all the way into the charger which causes a missalignment with the contacts and due to the contacts being very thin they tend to break off. If this happens you must use the USB cable to charge the phone, it plugs in under the charger. If your contacts are good you can take a thin knife and ease the tab over the edge of the plastic lip on the charger alowing the battery to seat correctly in the charger making the proper connection.

SOURCE: I have a Nokia E71 and the charging problem.

Have you checked the mouth of your charger? Because your charger mouth might have loose contact internally and you not knowing. But to confirm this, you have to borrow the type of your charger from a friend and test if your phone will do the same thing. And if this does not solve the problem, try loosing the phone with a phone screw driver, check if the charging port is contact the phone board well and if this did not still solve the problem, then you will have to completely change your phone charging.

Best wishes.

SOURCE: Motorola Tundra - plugged it in and is not charging

I had this same problem. I called customer service and they sent me a new battery. But before the new battery arrived I took the old one out and then put it back in after approx. 2 minutes. The phone started working fine again.

Samsung Galaxy S2 S95G will not charge

Usually this lack of charging is a faulty mini usb connector inside the SII phone or maybe the mini USB plug on the end of charger cable. If you have a friend with a working SII use their phone to verify your battery or try their good battery in your phone. This will confirm it' s a charging / battery issue.
Not sure if you did this:A workaround for a faulty mini USB conn. in the SII would to be to buy a new battery and an external battery charger with battery holder stand. Charge batteries in the stand and change the charged batteries over into the Galaxy SII as needed.

Samsung digital cam SC-D363 don't charge or turn on

Sounds like a bad charger or not the right one. Maybe you got them mixed up with something else. Usually there are two plug ins and one is for charging the other is for operation while plugged in on the camera. I feel that it is the charger at fault and not the camera, or the charging port inside the camera. To test the charger for power take a 12 volt light of any sort from a car and connect it to the ends of the charger with pieces of wire and tape being sure not to allow the two to short out against each other or may ruin the charger. This test may be done while plugged in or plug it in once wiring and taping is completed to see if any power goes to the light indicating a bad charger which sometimes can wiggle the end and it shows power then one of the wires have come undone near the end. One can carefully take a sharp small knife and cut through the plug to re solder the wire back on or find a replacement plug in from a yard sale or cheap used electrical shop and splice in a new end being careful to not mix up polarity or this will ruin the device by putting the power in reverse polarity causing parts to burn out typically.

Not powering on

I'll assume that you've had the phone for a while, and that this isn't something that happened out of the box. One of two things are the most likely. First, your charger didn't charge the phone, allowing the battery to go stone cold dead. If you know someone with a Samsung charger, try charging the Rugby II overnight, and see if it works after that. If it does, you will need to replace your charger. The second likelihood is that the battery has gone bad, or is just old. The only fix for that is to replace the battery. A less likely third option is that the phone was damaged somehow. Try the first two, and then check with your phone vendor. Hope this helps!

Is my samsung gravity charging if it's plugged into the computer?

Yes, normally it will charge when connected to the computer. Give it a try and take a look at the battery icon on the phone to see if it shows that it's charging or using battery.

I have had my samsung propel for 3 years now and every time i put it on the charger i have to position the phone just right or my phone wont charge. at first i thought it was the charger but i plugged in...

Sounds like you have a cracked PC board at the charging port. Most likely caused by attempting to remove the adapter without depressing the tabs. This is an easy fix if you can find a shop to do it; keep in mind that repairing maybe as much or more then the phone is worth.

My suggestion is to position the charger so that the battery continue to charge, then replace the handset when it no longer accepts a charge. This could take a week or a year or two before the charging circuit is no longer working.

I have just brought a samsung gt-s3100 and don't understand the manual in how to charge the phone up. where does the charger go etc

Look at the phone as if you were going to use it. The charging port is concealed behind a little cover on the right side near the top. Just use a fingernail to unseat it, and then twist is out of the way. Plug the flat end of the charger into here.

On another note, is the phone supposed to say "charging complete"?ours doesn't seem to.
