Is there any possible way to remove the Locking nut clamp for Porter-Cable 423 mag circular saw it's just spins and spins it's the worst design of ever seen anybody have any ideas thank you

question for you
is the problem that you cannot stop the saw blade from turning when undoing the nut or is the blade loose in the clamp washers
for the first one
just disconnect the power from the wall , place a screw driver in the teeth and lock the movement against the body , then undo the nut
for the second , you may have to remove the rear from the motor and use lock grips to hold the shaft ot armature when undoing the nut
That is more difficult and if you are not mechanically minded , better to have an appliance shop do that procedure

Hoe does the locking nut come off

Hold the inner nut with a spanner. With a second spanner undo the outer nut in an anticlockwise direction.
If the inner nut is not held the two nuts may turn together.

How do I replace the inner tie rods?

undo the ball joints at the steering arms , loosen off the lock nuts just enough to unscrew the rods
Right hand side right hand thread , left side left hand thread
If you do not move the lock nut back more than 1 thread then you set the lock nut in the same place on the new rod , you will not need a wheel alignment
If you have to take the lock nuts off to fit to the new rods , measure the distance from the end of the rod to the face of the lock nut and position the lock nut at that distance on the new rods

How do I loosen the blade nut on my Ryobi 4 cycle edger? Which way does it turn??

Try heating the nut slightly with a gas torch and continue to turn counter clockwise as the manual suggests to undo.
The heat will expand the nut slightly making it easier to undo, don't overheat the nut as this could damage it.
check their isn't any locking washers holding the nut in place, bend the washer out of the locking position if this is the case.
Try using a larger spanner or extend your handle to give you maximum leverag

I need to replace the circular blade on my Ryobi EMS-1425L Mitre Saw. How do I lock the blade to undo the securing nut (can't find the instruction manual)?

Most power saws will have a small button on the frame, generally hidden but you'll find it if you have a good look. Push on the button and turn the blade gently. The button should lock in and lock the blade and then enable you to undo the securing nut.

Are the threads on the nut for the crankshaft pulley left or right handed?

Hi they are normal nuts so will undo anticlockwise, but to undo this nut/bolt your going to need to lock the flywheel you can do this by either removing the starter motor and jamming a big screw driver in the teeth of the fly wheel so that it lock on the casing of the gearbox or you can undo an inspection panel on the gearbox to give you access to the fly wheel and then jam it that way other than doing this you would need air tools to undo this nut without jamming the fly wheel

Brake lights stay on

Check the brake pedal sensor. It is mounted on the arm of the brake pedal, under the dash. It should have a lock nut and an adjustment nut. Undo the lock nut, then turn the adjustment nut so the sensor does not make contact when the pedal is not depressed. Re-tighten the lock nut, and you're done.
