Question about Sharp XG-E3500 Multimedia Projector
On a Sharp XG e3500u DLP projector, the screen lights up just fine, except for a large black dot in the center of the blue screen if there is no video source. If I attach a source, the image is displayed with a now large transparent yellow dot. Menu items from the projector seem to display normally across the dot. The projector has been in storage for several months, I don't know how long it's been behaving this way.
You may mana replace the DLP chip

There is a burned-in spot on the polerizer light filter for the blue lcd. it makes sure the light is blue coming through, that's why it is black on a blue screen, and yellow when the red and green are the only light showing through. it needs to be replaced. pat # PFiLW0213CEZZ.
