Bogus message to replace print cartridge

The printer complained that the pink ink cartridge needed to be replaced, I replaced it. It then said the blue needed to be replaced, replaced it. It said the cartridge was expired, bought a new one. Still says the blue print cartridge needs to be replaced.

My problem is with the yellow cartrige. I get the same bogus message to replace the empty cartrige even when I insert a new cartrige. I have also tried removing ALL cartriges, cleaning them, and replacing them. I do not get the opportunity to align.

Printer is printing with a pink hue

Your printer mixes the 3 colours in the tri-colour ink-cartridge to achieve each colour.

So, printing in 'PINK' suggests that one of the other 2 "primary" colours is OUT-OF-INK.

Replace the ink-cartridge.

Having trouble fitting new ink cartridge

Hi, when an ink cartridge runs low in your HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One printer, you will see a message on the printer's display screen. Faded-looking text or pictures also indicate low ink. Ensure print quality by replacing ink cartridges when they run low.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

* HP #27 or #56 black, #22 color or #58 color photo print cartridge, or compatible equivalent

Turn printer on if it is off. Never attempt to change the ink cartridge if the printer is off. If it is off, it will not properly position or release ink cartridges, and attempting to change the ink cartridges may damage the printer.

Open the print-carriage door, located on the right side of the printer. The print carriage will automatically move into the access area.

Push down on the top edge of the cartridge you are replacing to pop it out of its slot. Remove the print cartridge and discard or recycle.

Pull off the protective tape on the new print cartridge using the pink tab. Do not touch any part of the cartridge except the black plastic. Touching the contacts or ink nozzles under the protective tape can damage the cartridge and result in poor print quality.

Hold the cartridge upright and push gently forward into the empty ink cartridge slot until it clicks.

Close the print-carriage door.

My printer prints wrong colors?

First, I am sincerely sorry that you were deceived into purchasing a Lexmark, I mean Kodak, I mean.....yeah same thing. Their game is cheap machine's and expensive cartridges. We have seen a number of customers complain about these machines in our store. One customer has to have his print head replaced, via warranty, every time he changes his cartridges. My recommendation is to purchase a Canon that take the CLI-220 series cartridges. These cartridges can be refilled and reset by qualified refillers (do not use "compatibles"). For the time being, call "Kodak" and complain until they fix it. Sorry I couldn't offer you more.

Why won't my CX9400F recognize Epson ink cartridges

The Epson CX9400F printer seems to require replacement of all the color ink cartridges, even if only the Black is empty.

I print almost exclusively in Black, but with my first change of Black, I was forced to change all the color. At the time I thought Epson did not provide completely filled color ink cartridges.

Just yesterday, I replaced Black and the printer complained it did not recognize the rest of color cartridges. So I replaced all the other color ink cartridges and now it works fine.

You might want to check out www.clickinks.com for cheaper, mail order alternatives which are Epson ink compatible, if you are not in a hurry.

Color Ink Cartridge Problem

Hi,

Unplug the printer, and leave it unplugged for 5-10 minutes. Then if the printer is still complaining about the color cartridge when you turn it back on, then replace the print cartridge.

Message that cartridge is empty, insert a new cartridge.

Hi-

so you mean thats the replacement cartridge and after printing 10 prints it is now saying you have to change it, chances are that is a defective ink cartridge, you should get more prints from that replacement, here's what, call epson technical support at 562-276-1300 and have your proof of purchase ready and complain on this, they will send you a replacement, i mean they should. now if its going to happen on the replacement ink cart, that after 10 prints and it will say its empty then thats an issue with the printer already. update me regarding on it, but for now my best advice is to call epson. Have a nice day!!
