Air conditioniong not coming out of all my vents

Hi Linda:
If there is cold air coming out of some of the vents then the air conditioner is working.
The problem will be with any of:
- the ducts that connect the vents to the air conditioner,
- the "gates" that allow air into the ducts, or
- The switching or power that controls the gates.
I suggest you try different settings, record which vents are not working under what circumstances, and in that way determine where the problem is. Once you've isolated the problem, it is usually a lot easier to fix it.
Cheerfuls!

Ac unit doesn't cool one bedroom well, new unit what am i doin wrong.

Check the air vents in that room to ensure they are open. Or try closing a few other vents a little to try and push the air to that room.

Fan runs but no cool air or any air coming thru ducts

Be sure the "fan running" noise you hear is actually the fan and not just the refrigeration pump. The unit would still make a running noise but the fan may not be turning.
Check to be sure the filter is clean and that all vents are open.

Fan unit does not come on.

Hello
if im reading this correctly, you need to push start your fan motor?

Either the motor start capacitor is bad or the motor windings are bad.

If the motor is not coming up to full speed or is faulty you will not get good cooling.

Sounds as you may need a new motor.

I have a dometic duo-therm. No air coming through ducts.

Sounds like the ducting have come apart in some areas or blocked in some way. Take the supply grills off and with a shop vacuum try and reach as far as you can.

Central Air Conditioning

It sounds like a restriction in your ducting. Feel the A/C vents in the hot rooms to see if cold air is blowing out of them. If the ducts are restricted, then it is possible that the air conditioning coils are freezing up from lack of circulation. Inspect the ducts if you can to see if there is any restriction.

Note that even if you feel air coming out of the ducts, it could be ambient as opposed to cold. The best thing is to measure the air temperature coming out of the ducts. It should be around 20 degrees colder than the ambient air at the intake of the A/C.

Blower Turns off if ac unit comes on. No air coming through vents

This only could 1--2 things, a bad circuit board fan relay or bad thermostat. To check for bad thermostat, take off the front cover to reveal the 4-wire terminial and jump the red-wire (power)-cool,(yellow -y or blue)--- green--fan white-(heat)..........red to yellow-or y=cool. Thank-you-very-much!
