Henry, its going to be 1 of 2 things. Check inside your drum, see if the vent in the rear has burning or discoloration around it. If it does, it sounds as if your vent is restricted causing the unit to overheat, so clean/fix/replace the venting and your support pulleys will need to be repalce ie flat spots from overheat. If there is no scoarching marks and you know its not the vent or heat issue, the drum seam may have parted causing the thump as every revolution is made.

SOURCE: lg td-c70045e electric dryer power on but not turning

I had the same problem. Replaced the capacitor and now all is ok. Dryer is working 100%. If you hear a humming sound from the motor then it means the capcitor is faulty and does not start the motor properly.

SOURCE: Lg Gas dryer Dlg0332w drum making noise

The drum on my DLG0332W was also making noise at the back of the dryer...kind of a thump thump thump as the drum rotated. My dryer is only 4 years old. I got brave, downloaded the service manual and opened up the dryer. I found that the drum's welded seam was starting to separate where the roller wheels were coming into contact with the drum at the back of the dryer. Looks like a new drum is in order.

SOURCE: When I turn on my dryer on it gives a rattling/vibrating noise.

There maybe a lot of lont build up in the blower wheel housing. Take off bottom panel and take apart the blower wheel house and check for any lint build up....if it check ok, your drum rollers maybe worn....try checkin the blower wheel housing...hope this helps

What does it mean when my LG true steam dryer has and indicator on that says flow sensor

That might have something to do with the exhaust vent in back of the machine. It could be that it isn't venting properly. Or the other thing it could be is that where the cold water hose is connected to the dryer for the steam could be kinked therefore not allowing sufficient water flow.

Clunking noise

The clunking noise may be a broken weld on the drum.  Every time it turns and passes through the guide wheel supports, it makes a thunk thunk noise.  You will need to have a qualified LG technician diagnose the problem correctly but that's what it sounds like.
