Problem for Electric Lawn Mower

Electric lawn mower will not start

During it's last time at-bat, the lawn mower stopped running mid-job. I checked the power source, thinking that a breaker was thrown, but the outlet and source are good. The cord looks fine and I would just like to know where to look for the possible problem and how to fix it myself.

check the speed controller and also check the terminals on the motor.
