Question about Xerox Phaser 8200 Laser Printer
I have a Xerox Phaser 8200 color printer. It is reporting a paper jam in the lower paper tray. I cannot locate the jam and don't think one exists. Instead I think the connection for the bottom tray was damaged as this used printer was transferred from one office to mine. Can I disable the lower tray in lieu of repair? Please advise,
Normaly when you get this problem it means that you need to replace the feed rollers in that tray.
Rollers: Replace the rollers when you see any of the following defects:
Out of roundness
Loss of traction (tackiness) causing pick or feed failures.
Xerox paper pick roller
Part # 401-0882-00
Hope this helps
