Question about Apple iPod touch
I turn on wi-fi but when I go to you tube or safari it says that the page cannot be opened because the page stop responding. the internet worked one day but then the problem appeared. I reserted Ipod and internet worked but after five minutes it was the same
If you are broadcasting your own wireless connection and it still isn't working, try resetting the router.
If you are just try to snag an internet connection out of the air and expect it to always work, you're in for a surprise. Someone has to broadcast the wireless signal for your iPod to have a connection. It costs them money, and if they're like me, they eventually notice when someone is snagging on their connection and taking up bandwidth. Usually it's only a matter of time before a 'paying' customer realizes this and secures the connection so that users with wireless devices such as your iPod) can no longer steal the connection for free.
If this is the case, you might want to consider buying a wireless router and broadcasting your own connection, but make sure that you set a password and keep it secure so that it stays fast, otherwise people will take advantage of it and slow you down.
Hope this information is helpful.
