Question about Computers & Internet
I am trying to load windows 2003 server on the Foxconn rs233 barebone PC. I have installed a sony dvd drive, a 250gb maxtor HDD sata 150. plus 2gb of memory. I have followed the instruction by foxconn for loading the drives for the PC to the $OEM$ folders. but the buils complains that it can't mount the sysem. Any advice. Regards Glen
If you get the blue screen code and type it in www.dogpile.com you can find some answers there, i would sugest that you reset all the bios settings to factory default, that normaly fixes the bluescreen on instalations, you may need the motherboard drivers for the sata and put them on floppy for the system to install the hard drive drivers.
one problem i do come accross is that sata drives are funny so in most bios settings there is a sata setting that switches back to IDE it was for backward compatability problems.
