Hello. First you have to turn on the BT(bluetooth) on your iphone and make it visibility (discoverable). After that just push the power button long in your plantronics headset. Maybe it is starting flashing but this is good. This is the method how to pair. If your headset have only one button then press that long. when i say long it's means 3-5s around. Good luck. If it isn't works let me know what headset modell do you have.

there are no other bluetooth devices loaded on your mobile. Removing the
battery of the mobile for a few seconds can help to reset the phone.

I SOLVED THE PROBLEM
LET THE HEADSET RUN DOWN, THEN PUT IT ON CHARGE,RED CHARGING LIGHT CAME ,CHARGED FOR 2 HOURS, THEN PAIRED TO 6300, WORKING OK.

Try going through the plantronics website for a replacement. My 590's date code was within warranty and I ended up replacing it TWICE. The one I have now has a different date code and seems to work fine now.
I surmise that the charging problem may have to do with bad voltage regulation and extreme sensitivity in their electronics.
