If the filter chute is clogged the small fuse at the top of the heater will trip. The remedy will be to remove the filter chute and get the junk out of it. I did a video of it:

No heat

could be a few different things, bad heater, popped thermal fuse or the high limit on the heater box,if the dryer hasn't been taken apart and cleaned out in a long time and it should be done once a year if gas and 18 months if electric, clean out the cabinet where the motor is,clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into and blow out the vent line,if the air isn't moving and it's been taking longer to dry your clothes most likely you popped the thermal fuse, you have to clean it out or the fuse will keep popping and it's a none resetting fuse or the high limit thermostat popped on the heater box, both are from the dryer running to hot and either the thermal fuse or the high limit will pop as a'll need to unplug the dryer and get in there with a meter to see what part is bad, remove the bottom panel, pull out the lint filter and then remove the metal duct that the filter slides into and you can read out the parts, you have to remove at least one of the wires on the part you check,on top of the blower wheel housing you'll see a white piece with two wires going to it,pull off one wire and check it with your meter,if that's good go to the right and check the heater and the t-stat in the back on the heater box, hope this helps

Won't work. No service code.

the first things to check is the door switch, open the door and push in the switch,if it doesn\'t click when pushed in the switch is bad, next thing to check is the belt,on some models there\'s a switch on the pulley assy. if there isn\'t any tension on the pulley the dryer won\'t start.if you need more help i need the model number off of the dryer, open the door and lolook around the opening where you put the clothes in and you\'ll see a tag with the model number,if the dryer hasn\'t been taken apart and cleaned out the thermal fuse could have popped,if the dryer gets to hot inside from a blocked vent line or the duct that the lint filter slides into is blocked the fuse will pop and it\'s non resetable.

Why do I have to keep hitting the reset button to get the heat?

If the switch keeps popping, that means there is a problem that the switch is keeping from causing anything from a complete failure to a house fire. As you have asked about a "quick fix", must assume you do not have the required expertise to diagnose the different components. You should call for an appliance maintenance person to come out and fix it instead.

Hello, I have a Kenmore Elite Dryer Model 110.65062500 that just clicked when I press the start button. I replaced the Thermal Fuse and the dryer started working again but after two loads, it looks...

you have to clean out the dryer.if the vent line is long blow it out with a leaf blower, remove the duct that the lint filter slides into and clean that out and vac out the cabinet where the motor is.if you don't do this the fuse will keep popping, the dryer can't move the air because lint is blocking the air flow,if the dryer starts to run to hot the fuse pops as a safety so you don't have a fire from not cleaning out the dryer

Runs for 2 mins. then stops, push reset button & will run for 2 minutes & stops again

How long have you had the dryer? It sounds like it is overheating, and the most likely cause is accumulated lint. You can check this by removing the round plastic covers on either side panel. Just rotate them and they will pop out. Clean out any lint you see in the air channels and replace the covers.

Also check your ducting - it may be partially or fully blocked by something. You could test this by disconnecting the ducting, then running the dryer to see if it still shuts off. (Prepare for some loose lint flying out in this event.)

Dryer won't turn on.....

Its possible that you blew out the thermal fuse on most dryers it is located on the blower wheel housing. You can test the part with an ohm meter, if has continuity its good if not it's bad.

Go reset your circuit breaker. Even if it didn't pop out, reset it.

Reset button keeps popping out causing dryer to cool down and no heat until pushed back in?

most common cause for heater overheat, and reset, is lint build up in the exhaust line, reduces air flow, the air gets hotter than designed, and resets pop.
some lint always gets past the screen and lodges in the fan and ducting and vent hood.
examine and clear the above, all the way to the wall, and problem should cease.

Asko t760 display panel

My Asko T761 had the same problem, power button lights up but the LCD panel if off. This is not the fuse becuase I replaced with "new fuse replacement kit" provide by Asko but this did not solve my problem. All I needed to do was press the "reset button".
