SOURCE: storage card shows but files are not located

Connect your handset to computer through USB cable and then see if files are there in memory card. In this way you can also check your card memory.

SOURCE: LG VX8350 can't transfer mp3's to removable storage any more

Make sure you format the card in the phone and not using an external card reader.

Also make sure you are not using a card that is beyond the capability of the phone. The phone is limited to 4GB cards.Use only cards that are 4GB and lower capacity.

If you still have problems I would try getting another brand of card, Kingston and Sandisk have worked well for me.

maybe there wasnt enough storage in the memory card?I think you should try doing a hard reset.
By doing this back up all your files and contacts and if you have any files you do not need on your memory card make sure you delete them.

1. Turn off your phone
2. Press the green button + red + camera key
3. Turn your phone back on while still holding those keys
4. Let go when you see shaking hands

This should reset your whole phone. If it asks for a code its 12345.
1. backup your data from memory card (if needed).
2. format ur memory card using phone.
3. connect the phone to comp thru USB in "Mass Storage" mode.
4. there will a folder "Private". clear the contents of this folder(make sure the Private folder has no subfolders/files).
5. copy all the files u want and its good-to-go as new.

note: dont unplug the phone ever without "safely removing" the hardware.

When we join nokia 2700 to computer throgh data cable it shows memory card is used by another application.what does it mean?

The default storage might be set to the memory card and some kind of apps maybe running, reset the storage to company default or remove and replace the memory card might solve the problem.

Hi sir iam forget my security code and my mobile dose not working.

The security code is 12345 to reset to factory settinggs. The phone has some errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.

How do i download my photos from htc desire hd to my laptop

You can copy your music, photos, and other files to your phone's storage card.

  1. Connect your phone to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. On your phone's Connect to PC screen, tap Disk drive, and then tap Done. On your computer, the connected phone is recognized as a removable disk.
  3. Navigate to the removable disk and open it.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Copy the files from the computer to the phone's storage card's root folder.
    • Copy the files from the phone's storage card to a folder in your computer.
  5. After copying the files, unmount the removable disk (that is, the connected phone) as required by your computer's operating system to safely remove your phone.

My memory card had been corrupted.. all the files saved on it deleted... after that i cant download any application now on my nokia e63 phone..

You probably just need to format the external memory card that you had before and got corrupted, because with that you will have gotten rid of maybe the existing virus that was acquired by the card, then if you have a PC suite for your Nokia handset, run an antivirus to clean the virus from the phone.

It is having the problems, just probably because there were some existing virus that corrupted your phone from the site you downloaded your documents!
Thank you.

Lg chocolate bl40 doesn't access music player just displays' loading' & rotating circles. It remains in this mode indefinetly, or until it switches itself off.If the cancel button is pressed the phone...

Problems like that is like a memory storage failure. Check if there is enough memory in your memory card. Try to delete some un-needed files or application to free up space. If you have an alternate memory card try to replace the existing memory card.

Virus

Yep Formatting certainly will get rid of virus ! But if you do not want to lose your contacts or personals datas you can try free antivirus softwares for symbian phones
also tips to format :
Here’s how you can remove, clear and clean the virus from your Nokia cell phone :
1> Remove the memory card from your cell phone and keep it in a clean and safe place. 2> Turn on your cell phone and key in #7370# 3> Security code prompt comes up, if you have set a security key, then key it in, else key in the default security key which is 12345.

This step is actually hard resetting your mobile phone. Which means that you might lose all data if you have not backed it up and moved it on to the memory card. Hence it is very important that you remove the memory card before performing this process.
Chances are that your memory card may also be infected by the virus. To remove the virus from memory card, put it on a card reader, connect it to your PC, either run one of the latest anti-virus software on it or format it if the anti-virus fails to remove the virus (You’ll end up losing the data here), which should clean it up.
Put the memory card back in your cell phone, restart the cell phone, which is now clean of the virus.

I have HTC Viva touch phone, how to convert MENC file to jpeg.

Go to Start, Settings, System, Encryption (or someplace similar) and uncheck the “Encrypt files when placed on a storage card” box. Now all NEW files will be in-the-clear, but existing files will still be encrypted. (Don’t forget to toggle this back when you’re done if you want to.) Next, navigate to your File Explorer, then to your Storage Card. Make a new folder (name it something obvious like “Unencrypted Stuff”). Now, find whatever files you want to unencrypt and move (or copy) them into this folder. You can now pop your storage card out and read them on any other computer (or on any phone for that matter). You also freed up between 8K and 16K per encrypted file. I believe it helps. Its easy and workable. :) Cheers!!
