Question about SYMA Toys industrial Toys

Open Question

I have two SYMA S107G helicopters and one has become intermittent in response. It would fly for a few minutes, land and won't operate after. It is on but won't respond. We have reassigned the remote and was unsuccessful. Anyone?

SOURCE: The helicopter syma s032 not

0) Obviously, helicopter will operate best when fully charged... if charging light gets brighter when unplugged from helicopter, then it's not at full charge. Charge fully, then allow battery to cool for 10 minutes. Good batteries in remote also.
1) Power on helicopter.
2) Place on level surface and let gyroscopes sync. There is a red light inside the body (NOT the red/blue flasher in the nose) that will blink when you turn helicopter on, and will keep blinking until craft is level and stable for a few seconds, then will stop blinking.
3) Make sure left joystick is all the way down.
4) Power on remote.
5) Throttle up (left joystick) until blades move and then all the way back down.
This should get you flying. Let me know.

hope this helps,

SOURCE: my syma s032 helicopter was working fine then i charged it the it flies good for one minute then just stays in a hver position on the ground and it gets short bursts of power now and then

did you try replacing or testing the batteries in the remote yet? I have had my helicopters act funny once in a while and then changed the batteries and then problem cleared up. The remote might not have enough range when power is low.

Helicopter not stable

Hi, I had a toilet bowl effect after changing the blades on my s107g. After making sure the shaft was seated properly, I simply adjusted the tension on the screws holding the blades in position and after a bit of trial and error tightening and loosening: it's as good as new!

Inferred controller loses contact with the S107G

Moving to solution section so more people will see it:

Infrared is different band of electromagnetic spectrum from radio and is subject to the same problems as radio waves, namely, noise, transmitter problems, and receiver problems. the receiving antenna will not be a wire, it will be a infrared photocell. The sending "antenna" will be an LED.

A few things to try..
- make sure that nothing is covered on your handset and the helicopter that did not come that way
- Switch channels
- try a different location to see if anything in the environment is interfering, it could be something generating a lot of heat (including bright lights or sunlight) or another infrared device, like a remote control or some wireless devices like headphones and 3D video game systems with active shutter glasses.
- turn everything else off where you are trying to fly - might have to unplug electronics and remove batteries from remotes to make sure they are not emitting
- try linking a different helicopter or different controller that you know works to see if it is on one or the other of yours

I tried putting my hand over the emitter and the helicopter, and could not block the signal. I flew mine to the balcony out of site, and it still responded fine, so the signals bounce around enough quite a bit.

Hi, the issue I am facing is that my remote is not able to connect to the helicopter. Earlier when I used to put the battery the light used to blink, now as soon as I switch on the remote it just does...

Helicopter should be powered off when charging. After fully charged (charging light as bright as it gets) and given 10 minutes to cool after charging, turn on helicopter first and place on level surface, this allows gyroscopes to sync up. Then, after making sure the main rotor control (left joystick) is all the way down, turn on controller, and quickly push left joystick all the way up (just until the blades move) and back down. This will link them. Also, make sure the antenna is still wrapped around the landing strut and not contacting any metal on the craft. And of course, good batteries in the remote, and ALWAYS let helicopter battery cool for 10 minutes after charging AND after flying. Also, NEVER fully drain battery, as soon as you cannot maintain altitude, land and power off. Fully discharging a Li/Po battery will weaken it severely, and sometimes kill it.

Please let me know if this helps, I love Syma helicopters, but they can be tricky sometimes...

Batteries are available online (amazon and many others) and change easily with only small screwdriver. Overcharging is not the issue. Nearly impossible with PCB (overcharge prevention circuit) hard wired into battery AND in charger. Problem is likely UNDERcharging, overDIScharging, or improper battery care. Battery MUST be allowed to cool 10 minutes after flying. Charge until light on charger doesn't get any brighter when helicopter is unplugged... light comes on (dim at first) well before full charge. 10 minute cool-down after charge also a MUST. And, most important, when flying, as soon as you are unable to maintain altitude, land helicopter and power it off. Li/Po batteries should never be fully drained. Even one full discharge can cripple or ruin entirely your helicopter's battery.

hope this helps.. let me know,
